"Heresy!"
The Holy Light Archbishop's eyes burned with flames of anger,
his voice filled with disbelief and deep indignation: "Heresy! How dare you desecrate the Holy Light and sully God's blessings!"
David stood opposite the Holy Light Archbishop, his gaze calm, the glow of the Holy Scripture of Light in his hand undiminished.
He calmly said, "I have not desecrated the Holy Light; I am merely using its original power."
"The Holy Light does not belong to any individual or divine being; it is a part of this world, a power that every living being should be able to access and utilize."
The Holy Light Archbishop's anger seemed to burn hotter, his voice almost a roar:
"Absurd! The Holy Light God is the supreme being; the Holy Light Power is his blessing, and only with his permission can mortals use it."
David shook his head, his voice still calm, "Is the god you speak of truly supreme?"
"Does he really wish to share the power of the Holy Light with everyone?"
