Half an hour later, Wu Jun arrived at his destination, paid the driver, and got out of the car.
He turned around and saw the Meng Zalang specialty store not far away. It looked quite impressive.
It had an upscale, imposing storefront and large, clean, brightly lit display windows. The store's interior layout looked neat and orderly.
Seven or eight staff members in green uniforms emblazoned with the "Meng Zalang" logo were inside, attending to customers who had come to buy rice.
Compared to this Meng Zalang specialty store, his own small supermarket was completely outclassed in every way, from the decor to the number of employees.
'Once I have enough capital, I'll have to open a few proper specialty stores of my own,' Wu Jun thought to himself as he headed into the shop.
"Hello, sir. How may I help you?" A female employee greeted Wu Jun warmly as soon as he reached the entrance.
Wu Jun said, "I heard your rice is delicious, so I came over to buy a bag and try it."
