This isn't entirely a bad thing. At the very least, it lets them know that the World Consciousness hasn't completely died out and can still occasionally put some pressure on the Divine King.
One could even say it caused a lot of pressure. Otherwise, the Divine King wouldn't have thrown his own daughter down like merchandise to tempt the world's chosen protagonist.
Although it's currently unknown exactly how many children the Divine King has, let's assume it's a lot — say, 100.
In ancient times, there were a few emperors with that many children, but when they wanted to marry off their daughters to nomadic tribes, it seemed they didn't really send their biological daughters. It was often nieces of the split family or daughters of distant relatives, or even sisters framed with a title and sent over.
