Even though Wu Chang was excited, as if seizing the Earthly Divine Kingdom was as easy as picking something out of a bag, Erin was not as optimistic as he was.
Erin didn't want to dampen Wu Chang's spirits, but she felt obligated to bring him back to reality. She sighed and said:
"Your idea is great, but unfortunately, I can only see the mystical ceremonies arranged here, and I don't know how to alter them."
As her grasp of emotions grew, she found that being able to sense others' feelings not only failed to facilitate communication but made it more difficult.
To not disappoint Wu Chang too much, she added, "If it's just destroying the mystical ceremonies here, I can easily do that."
