Jingle.
The bell at the back door of the grocery store rang.
Matty looked puzzled; he didn't recall inviting anyone else.
He stepped to the back door foyer and found a stranger in a black robe standing there.
He was sure he didn't know the person, hadn't even seen him in the town before.
Today was an important day, and he didn't want to be disturbed by some random person.
"Who are you?"
The person in the black robe casually picked up the fish-shaped wood carving on the foyer and toyed with it in front of his eyes. "To buy something."
"I don't sell my goods to outsiders."
Matty felt strange; he only recognized the residents of the town and was very resistant to outsiders.
If it were any other outsider daring to touch his goods with dirty hands, he would have cut off that hand long ago.
But today, seeing the black-robed person in front of him, he not only wasn't angry but instinctively admired the other person.
Black-robed person: "Can't you make an exception?"
