CAMPUS LIFE Location the Humanworld, Japan-Kuoh: Kuoh Prime University
Laharl, and the girls were hanging around in the Mess Hall. Albedo, Rumi, Morrigan, and Bina aka Zombina, were enjoying lunch with the rest of the family. It's only been a week, and couple days, since Kouh Prime University, of Kuoh-U for short. Regardless, his girls have gotten quite popular on campus. Albedo and the mature senseis, are the Grand Ladies of the campus. While Raven, Mizore, Karin aka Kneesocks, along with the rest. They are called the Princesses of the campus. Daki, was sitting with him, Weiss, Kyoko, and Nero. As the other girls, were busy in the university. They eat in peace, listening to gossip and talking about the Laharl's girls. Remembering that no matter the school, or grade of the said school, there are the idols of the place. Making Laharl chuckled. As Weiss was eating a grilled chicken, pomegranate salad, while Kyoko is eating a Japanese boxed lunch. And Nero was enjoying a pesto lasagna. Laharl, was enjoying that his girls, were happily eating their food. Laharl, then he'd sighed. As he has a afternoon classes, since he'd refused to follow any specific course. Since he didn't want to do anything in the humanworld. Because of that, not only him, but all the girls have to a general course. Which includes all the basic classes, Japanese, History, Math, Science, and couple more. That in reality was a utter, annoyance and pain for all of them. Especially Albedo the business management teacher. Zombina the advance sport teacher. Rumi was in charge of gymnastics, and Morrigan is the foreign language teacher. All of this was waste of time for all of them. The only ones that were enjoying themselves, and taking advantage of this college life. Are Ranma and Sona along with their respected peerage. Heck even Blake, Yang, Ren, Melanie, Miltia, and Nora were enjoying themselves, and their specific carrier courses. But Laharl couldn't blame. Most of them were humans, that haven't gone through the hassle of human life, in it's entirety. Like Laharl himself.
Asides that. Laharl was thinking about Issei. His friend, and how to tell him. That he was basically, apart of the reason he'd died. It sucked. If the plot remained as the original, he wouldn't have to bother. But with the deviations, it was quite likely, that Issei wouldn't be reincarnated. Ascending to becoming the hero of this world. Sighing, as he took a bite of his Katsu Sando, translated to fried pork cutlet sandwich. Weiss, Nero, and Kyoko they'd noticed Laharl's sad mood. Feeling bad for their dear love, as they asked him with concern, about his problems. After another bite, he smiled with joy. Cause of their affection. He told them, his issue, and how he'll soon tell Issei the truth. And like he'd expected, the mood got gloomy, as Kyoko. His ever sweet, kunoichi, she'd offered some words of comfort. As well as reassuring him, that regardless what happens, she and the others are their for him. Weiss, and Nero smiled lovingly at him, making him a bit better. As they continue their lunch, in peace.
LAHARL TELLS ISSEI THE TRUTH Location the Bael Residence: Krichevskoy Mansion, Rooftop
It is the weekend. Laharl, was at his mansion's rooftop. Seating down, at the sun chair, placed in the area. Waiting for someone, that he invited. Issei. After the whole, Rias explaining a bit things, about being a devil. It was time, for Laharl to explain to his friend. That he was practically, responsible for his death. He sighed, showing clear discomfort in his stance. Eventually, a few prinnies came into the area. One of them, spoke to him, "Master. The guy, that you're waiting for dood. His here dood." Laharl thanked the prinnies. Also told them, that aside letting Issei in, bring them some sodas, as well. Saluting him, the winged, peg-legged, blue penguins, left. After a couple minutes, the prinnies came back. Guiding Issei, that was surprised at the sight of the prinnies. Since its his first time, actually seeing them.
A prinny, even came with a tray. That held sodas, for them. Placing that tray onto a same outdoor table, and leading Issei to his own chair. Issei, greeted him with a happy mood. Sitting down, and taking a soda can. He told Laharl, that his life, has been going well, since becoming a devil. Also stating he was surprised, that Laharl-senpai is a devil. Along with expressing, that he was grateful that Laharl, save him a couple days ago. Laharl, sighed telling Issei that "it wasn't trouble", and picking a soda for himself. After Issei, started talking a bit. Laharl, finally decided to speak. Asking Issei to listen for a moment. Issei stayed silent, and listened to his friend. Laharl started to confess. He knew about the fallen, and their plans. Since Issei was too weak, and his dragon could sense the one within him. Laharl, he decide to not save him, as it would awaken, greater power within Issei. He even, made sure that Rias, possess the necessities to fully ressurect him. Laharl, didn't say everything. Cause he didn't want Issei to suffer, somekind of mental or spiritual breakdown. Because he'd learn that he was always, destined to die to Raynare, and become Rias pawn. And to make sure that canon-event, still happens, Laharl literally bended fate and reality to insure it occurs. But he still, said that it was basically his fault, that Issei had to die. Laharl, apologized to his bro. And even left himself open, for any sort of punch or strike, that Issei wants to dish-out to get some closure.
Issei was quiet. Then got up, and punched Laharl in the face. With every ounce of strength, he'd could muster. In truth, it didn't hurt Laharl a bit. But he'd allowed himself to get punched, so Issei can feel better. Laharl was on the gravel floor, of the roof. Then to Laharl's surprise, Issei offered a hand. Helping Laharl stand, and then padded onto Laharl's back. Claiming that now they were even, and went to the table. Picking up, another pair of sodas, and handing one to Laharl. As it was Issei's turn to talk. While he was a bit hurt, that Laharl had some part in his death. Laharl still made sure he was okay, he was one of the few people to accept and befriend him. Even teaching him, somethings and believing in his dreams. This made Laharl, a irreplaceable friend, in Issei's book. Laharl, he stared to laugh. As he forgot, one major thing about, Issei's personality. His undying loyalty and forgiving nature, heck he couldn't hurt Raynare when he'd had a chance. Thanking her, for even if it was a fake relationship, having one with him...then passing the baton to Rias, to take out the first villain of DXD. While thankful, that one of the few guy friends, that he has, forgave him. He'll still pay Issei back, and help him out, where he'd could. As they sat back down, enjoying the cold drinks, and talking like great friends. Soon Asia will, arrive and the big showdown at the church, will take place. During that time, Laharl will train Issei when he'd could, and hang out with him, Kiba, Ranma, and Ren. So all was good, once again.
ISSEI GETTING USED TO DEVIL LIFE Location Kuoh Academy: Occult Research Clubhouse
A few days later. Issei was once again in the old school building. The location of the Occult Research Clubhouse, run by his King, Rias-bucchou. Issei, will admit, during these few days. He developed a lot of admiration for Rias. She is kind, charming, witty, cute, and beautiful. Teaching him, all she could about being a devil. And the responsibilities that came with it. Also during those days, he'd grown closer with many of his fellow devils. Now that he'd knows that Ranma, and Laharl, along with all their group and family were devils. They didn't need to hide, or keep him in the dark any longer. Really showing their powers, and unrestrained selves. He even got to know Lie Ren, Ranma-senpai's Bishop. Issei found him chill, and his childhood friend, and girlfriend, Nora. She was funny, and cool. But made sure to warn Issei, that she's proudly taken, and happy about it. If he did something perverted to her, it wasn't Renny whose gonna, punish him. This was permanently, ingrained into Issei's memory, especially when Yang and Weiss told him, that Nora is a girl of her word. And will break his knees, should he'd cross the line. Another pair of devils, that he'd meet were the Malachite Twins. Melanie the older twin, and Miltia the younger one. One is Ranma-senpai's pawn and girlfriend, along with Yang, Blake, Kodachi, Shampoo, Ukyo, and Kaori, but also a total princess. While Miltia is a sweet, reserved, quiet girl. He has yet meet this Pyrrah, as she's enjoying her highschool and normal life, as a girl in Kuoh. Even getting her own apartment, when Karin...no Kneesocks' sister live. As he'd learned, that Karin is a cover, Kneesocks Daemon is her real name, and she's a classic red devil girl, and actual one. He'd fist bumped, Laharl for scoring such a girl. But when he'd learn that Kneesocks, has a sister, name Scanty that also goes to Kuoh. He was definitely interested in meeting her, and Rias as commented, that she'd wanted Scanty in her peerage. And has been trying to convince, the "older" Daemon sister.
Issei, he was also taught the power of the Evil Pieces. Along how those pieces, as Rias-bucchou took him, along with the others to take on, a Stray Devil. That Stray Devil's name, was Viser. Viser was a young woman with a voluptuous figure with long straight, black hair. With a centaur-like lower body. Use to have a appearance that has her front legs featuring humanoid hands with red claws and her stomach featuring a cavity with teeth to devour her opponents. Together with Akeno, who is a total sadist dom, Koneko a loli powerhouse. Aika, who is a fellow pervert. They became, close friend and kindred spirits. She was ranged fighter. Towa, like Kiba are sword users. With Towa a more, power base swordswoman, while Kiba a Knight, he is a speedster. The only one, that didn't participate in the battle was Gasper-kun. Since he while being a Bishop, he couldn't control his Sacred Gear, and hid behind Rias. During that extermination mission, Issei he'd accidentally triggered his power. The power of Boost, that doubled his powers. And in one, brutal and powerful right bodyshot, he'd killed Viser. He'd learned that his Boosts, can activate every ten seconds, and have no limit...aside his physical capabilities. Right now, he can easily trigger, with some extra-training, up to five stacks of Boosts. Making him pumped, as he was eager to train with Laharl, and Ranma to reach and maybe surpass his current limit.
But that was the final fun thing in his life. He'd learn that devils, needed to fulfill contracts with humans. To maintain their mana, and augment themselves. Issei expected this contracts to be more serious, but instead their basically chores, for lazy ass people. At least Issei learned how to use, teleportation magic. When Laharl, and the other devils, outside of Gremory Peerage, heard of this. Seems that the long, surge of devil mind magic. Has not only improved, Issei's desire to maintain his health. But also, forcibly increase his mana veins in his body. Allowing Issei to use magic, unlike canon DXD. He was still weak, but he was finally able to learn and use basic spells. That's when Issei meet, one of Koneko's usual customers. He was mature man, in some cheap apartment. He was disappointed of seeing Issei, over Koneko. The contractor first wanted to cancel, and send Issei back. But Issei managed to convince the guy, through mutual admiration over women. Which leads, and ended with them having a long, long discussion over anime and hot girl characters. End the end, his contract was successful one. When Issei, he'd return to his peerage, he'd learn that this was but the beginning of chores. Issei, he whined and asked if he'd really have to do these things. Kiba, he patted him on the back. And explained, it was only until he was strong enough to gain a familiar. So that familiar, can do the more menial tasks for him. Which lead to him, meeting his companions familiars, or more specifically Rias, Kiba, Akeno, and Koneko's familiars. Since like him, Towa, Gasper, and Aika didn't have one. Rias has a bat thing, looks more like a light purple bat chibi, that transformed into a cute girl with wings in a red dress!! Koneko has a white cat, name Shiro. Akeno tiny demon, that looks like a chibi oni, and Kiba has a bird of somekind. Seeing this excited Aika, Issei, and Towa, that wondered what they'll get in the future. But Rias, refused to spoil the surprise, so for now he has to deal with these chores on his own... Apart from that, he was loving his new life, as a devil. And was eager to keep experiencing it, and finally achieving, his greatest desire. To be a Harem King!! Stating this, got him smacked in the head by Koneko, calling him a "Dirty ecchi senpai", and making the rest of his group, laugh.
