We did 30 laps at the end, making us all tired and sweaty.
'Here, water.' Ajay handed over a water bottle to me to drink.
'Rina! Water!' Now, Bhaskar handed over a water bottle to me.
'Rina, do you remember me?'
'Are you the Ajay Dash from Aditya Academy and from Section A?'
'Wow! You have a strong memory!'
'What the hell! You two even know each other!' said Bhaskar in a disgusting tone.
'Yeah, for you it is really unfortunate, Bhaskar.'
'Wait, YOU TOO!'
'Yes!'
'What are you two talking about?' I asked.
'Nothing.'
'Looks like Bhaskar doesn't like me. Anyways, I really don't want you to be disturbed. I will be getting going.'
'Huh! Anyways!'
'Look! Somebody is trying to commit suicide.'
A message popped out on everybody's phone from an email ID, at least that I didn't know. But the profile picture was really familiar. It was as if I had seen her in my previous life too.
I instantly, without any thought, went up through the lift to stop her.
I reached the roof, and I ran towards her without any hesitation to hold her hand, but—
'Thank you for trying to save me. But I am really tired right now. I can't keep on like this. At least, you are someone with humanity...' And saying this, she jumped off the wall of the roof. I was right there on the roof watching his dead body with blood all over her and on the ground.
Tears could not be stopped from coming out of my red eyes. The expression that she had, the face she had before jumping, was way too similar to my past chance of this life. All my past memories came rushing to my mind like a bunch of bugs roaming around my head. That tired expression of giving up was everything to prove how much she suffered.
(To my mind) 'Looks like the time came to use my hourglass.'
I rotated the standing hourglass exactly 180°. All the images of what happened right now or, in brief, just a moment ago and many others get erased. I was again back to exactly 24 hours past. This means I am right now with Bhaskar in the Air Navigation class.
(In my mind) (Looking at the watch) 'What the hell! There are still 15 minutes left for this class to end.'
'Rina, do you have superpowers?'
'Huh! What are you talking about?'
(In my mind) 'Did he catch me or something? How the hell does he know about my secret weapon? Wait, how the hell would he know about this? Only I and one more person got regressed back. If I used that power in front of that person, then he will remember everything like I did about what will happen 24 hours later. Wait! This one more person could be him too. Is he, then?
'What are you talking about?' I again repeated.
'Are you—'
Tringgggggggg, Tringgggggggg,
The classes ended.
'Wait, I will talk to you later, Bhaskar. I will answer every question you want me to answer.'
