(To myself) 'What! Rahul just told me he loves me!'
'So, what are we, now?' I asked.
'Feelers'.

'Are you kidding me, right now?' I asked.
'Hahahahahahaha! I- I- I am- I am sorry for startling you. Of course, we are lovers.'
He then hugged me to caress the moment we had then.
(Rahul in his mind) 'Bhaskar, I finally won. I will make sure you never get the position of the Ceo.'
(To myself) 'Finally, my dream came true. Was that anonymous person who texted him was he, Rahul?'
We took beautiful pictures of us under the sparkling starry sky to keep the beginning of our dating era in memories.
We got together with Ram, Suheon and Ritu but Bhaskar was nowhere to be found.
'So, are you two finally together?' Ritu asked.
'Yes. I confessed. And he too did.'
'Wowwwwww! That's so cute.'
'But, Where is Bhaskar?' I asked.
'I don't know, he suddenly ran and gone missing', said Ram.
'Where?'
'To the bridge edge, I suppose', said Ritu.
'It's time to return too. Hmmmmmm, you all wait here, I will come in just a few minutes'.
I went to the same spot where Rahul and I were and in my surprise he was exactly there. But why!
'Bhaskar, it's time to return. Fireworks ended, already'.
'Ohhh! Sorry! It was so beautiful that I forgot about the time'.
His eyes were red and a little swollen as if he cried, he cried really hard. But, I couldn't bring myself to ask what happened.
(To myself) 'Why am I feeling guilty, suddenly?'
We had light dinner at a nearby small restaurant together. Everybody was gossiping about different topics. I was also happy that I was dating Rahul. Everytime I was looking at him, he was smiling at me. But, what about Bhaskar? What made him sad and down? I couldn't understand. Later, after finishing our dinner, it was time to return back to home.
We were waiting for our Uber to arrive that we booked.
'Are you okay?' I asked to Bhaskar.
'Yes, I am fine', he said with a chuckle.
'Really?'
'Yeah, I am fine. Why? Are you worried about me?'
'Hmphh! You know what! I am dating Rahul now. I confessed. He too did'.
'I know'.
'Yeah, when I joined you guys after the fireworks, Suheon told me'.
'Oh! I see....'
Our Ubers arrived respectively to our direction of our place.
Rahul, Bhaskar and mine's house are in the same direction while other's in the opposite.
I was sitting in the middle of the two in the car. Bhaskar kept looking outside the car's window leaning towards it. While, I was seated closer to Rahul while he left his arm around my neck bringing me more closer. I was both happy and confused though. I reached home. Bhaskar came out of the car too.
'Bhaskar where is your home?'
'After two houses after yours'.
'Wait! I didn't know that you live so close'.
'Yeah. Anyways, I will be get going, Rina'.
'I will be get going too, Rina', said Rahul.
I didn't get why I was feeling numb? I don't know whether I was happy or sad at the end with the outcome. But, I hoped whatever the result was it would bring us a better future.
