We reached the backstage. As the others introduced themselves, we entered. I looked at Ritu's face. She sighed with relief.
Our dance started. Oh! I never told you all right, our dance song was 'Golden' from Huntrix, Kpop Demon Hunters. This song is my favourite. I was chosen as the lead dancer and singer.
'I was a ghost, I was alone (Hah)
Eoduwojin (Hah) abgilsog-e (Ah)
Given the throne I didn't know (Hah) how to believe (Hah)
I was the queen that I'm meant to be (Ah),....'
I sang it, also with some others in the group in chorus....and danced altogether fascinating the bright eyes of the audience more.

Like I'm born to be
We're dreamin' hard, we came so far
Now I believe.....'
And I continued to sing.
The song ended with the loud cries and yellings for us from the crowd of audience signifying how well our performance was.
Parbati (in her mind), 'What the f-! Why didn't the light above her head fall? Where is the guy I hired?' Parbati was looking at me biting her nails in anger.
Now, comes the voting time of the audience and judge.
I was unconcerned about the result and was not nervous, while the others were literally sweating.
'Heyeyy.... How are you not concerned, Rina? I am literally shaking right now', Suheon said, coming towards me leaning on me for support.
'Hey, get away from me, you are so smelly right now because of sweat!' I said with disgust. 'You know why I am not concerned'.
Suheon looked at me with question mark in his mind.
'Because, I know, we know that we all gave our best. It doesn't matter what result we get. I know we did our good enough.'
Suheon's eyes becomes teary and started to rub his running nose on the dress.
'Hey! Get off from my dress, you dirty....'
Bhaskar was listening to us for a while and said, 'That's my lady.'
And we all laughed together.
'Now, the results are out. Your wait for the moment ends here. Now, it is time for me to announce the result...3...2...1.....In the 3rd position comes Ballestone academy, in the 2nd position comes Reynold Institution and the 1st position goes to...Aakash Academy. Give a loud clap for them, my fellow audience'.
'Rina,, did you hear it? We got the 1st position. Hurray!' said Ram.
Bhaskar looked at me and smiled and whisper in my ears, 'Congratulation to you, congratulations to all of your effort. Wow! You look so cute when you blush'.
(To myself) 'Did my heart just skip? - anyways, let's go to the stage now.'
'Congratulation again to secure the 1st position in this idol competition', said the anchor.
Then, the judges gave us the trophy of winning positioners with the appreciation of the audience. The day was really memorable. We took so many pictures that half of my photo-album is filled with that now.
Now, it comes the final thing. We were then at school principal office where our homeroom teacher, vice principal ma'am and principal ma'am were present. Our teammates were also present.
'I have something to show you all. Get him in this room'. I said.
The security guard took that criminal here.
'Who is this person?' asked Rahul.
'Wait, wait, drama is still not started yet'.
'Parbati, can you recognise him?'
'What are talking about why would I know him?' Parbati said being turned all blue in fear.
'What the hell are you talking about you are the one who told me to do that. You are the one who told me to loose the wires from which the lights were hanged so that it falls on that girl's head,' said by that very hired person to Parbati pointing his fingers towards me.
'What the hell! Why would I want my friend to be hurt? Rahul do you believe me or this man? You know me well, right. I would not do this kind of work. You know it, right?' asked Parbati.
'Dear, we got a contract signed by you with this guy or you can tell a deal in which it is clearly written if this person does his work properly as told then he will rewarded with 10 million dollars. Do you even need another proof for the fact you hired that person to literally harm me on stage after this?' I asked.
'No, no, please believe me it's not me. I would never do that'.
Her face filled with more fear seeing the hated expression of all her teammates. Later, she was taken why and her parents were called. She got beated badly bye his parents seeing the bruises all over her cheeks for what she had done. However, she deserved it.

The final exams started from next week. I studied very hard. For me, Chemistry and Maths paper was tough and and it got more reflected in my marks later that I got in those two subjects. This is the first time my marks got lowered so much. Anyways, finally I got again a one month break before proceeding a new journey to grade 10.
