Chapter 233 - Chapter 233

"You... you all?"

Betty staggered back a few steps under the barrage of curses, staring at the workers in confusion.

"The situation in Wano Country seems... different from what we anticipated."

Ivanov stopped in his tracks, not rushing to attack Black Maria.

At that moment, armed militiamen from the wasteland aggressively surrounded them, raising their rifles.

An elderly man looked with a grim expression at Page One lying in the crater, his body severely burned.

Were it not for the faint rise and fall of his chest, the old man would have thought Page One was already dead.

"Dammit, they took down Lord Page One! Be careful! These guys are strong!"

A sword-wielding samurai rushed to the front, drawing his blade with a shing and pointing it at Sabo and the others as he barked.

"Who are you people? Why have you barged into Wano Country and injured Lord Page One? What's your goal?"

"Annoying trash."

A flash of killing intent crossed Kid's eyes.

With three of his limbs missing, they had been replaced by constructs of steel.

His remaining right hand lifted forward.

"Magnetic Attraction!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The samurai's expression changed as the sword in his grip was yanked away by an unstoppable force, instantly tearing free from his control and soaring into the air.

At the same time, every armed samurai and militiaman watched helplessly as their weapons—whether in hand or on their person—flew into the sky like birds returning to their nest, all converging toward Kid's right hand.

Clank! Clank! Clank!

A massive metal arm, over ten meters long, materialized over Kid's right hand.

"Every last one of the Beast God Pirates deserves to die!"

A cruel killing intent twisted Kid's face as the colossal metal arm swung down, crushing toward the stunned crowd.

"Stop it, Kid!"

Sabo shouted, watching as Kid was about to crush the unarmed militiamen.

He was beginning to realize that the situation in Wano Country might not be as dire as he had imagined.

In his mind, the people of Wano should have been living in a living hell.

The brutal Beast God Pirates would never let go of such a ripe piece of land—they would squeeze every last drop of value from Wano.

Mining, quarrying, forging weapons, even trafficking its people.

But Kid's heart was already consumed by hatred. Why would he listen to Sabo?

"Hell Wink! Calm down, Kid-boy!"

Ivankov's body swelled as he winked at Kid's massive metal arm, releasing a shockwave that slightly halted its descent.

"Revolutionaries! You're getting in my way? These aren't the civilians you're supposed to protect—they're the Beast God Pirates! The ones who murdered my crew!"

Kid roared, his eyes bloodshot as he glared furiously at Ivankov, raising the metal arm once more!

"Kid-boy, snap out of it! Don't let hatred cloud your judgment!" Ivankov cried in alarm, leaping forward to stop the enraged Kid.

"ROOM Slaughterhouse! Shambles!"

But in the next instant, Ivankov's body suddenly vanished, reappearing hundreds of meters away.

His eyes widened in shock.

"Tora-oy! You—"

Law coldly observed the dozens of militiamen before him, raising his sword Kikoku as he stated emotionlessly.

"Every last one of the Beast God Pirates deserves to die."

With that, a massive hemispherical dome descended, gathering the scattered samurai and militiamen—now all clustered right in front of Kid.

"Hahaha, that's right! Every last one of the Beast God Pirates deserves to die! This is just collecting a bit of interest! Magnetic Impact!"

Kid laughed heartily as his massive metal arm came crashing down like a collapsing pillar.

The dozens of gathered samurai didn't even have time to utter a word before being smashed into a pulpy mess by Kid's gigantic hand.

The ground erupted with a viscous, crimson explosion of flesh and blood.

Bits of shredded meat went flying everywhere, some even landing on Sabo's feet.

"Kid! Law! You bastards! What the hell are you doing?!"

Sabo's face twisted in rage, his eyes blazing as he roared furiously, flames bursting from his body in great waves.

"What's it to you? We're not part of the Revolutionary Army. Even if you're their chief of staff, you've got no authority over us. Hehehe... Besides, you should worry about yourself first, Mr. Chief of Staff. You were the one who just burned a civilian to death."

Kid sneered, releasing his giant metal arm and letting the countless swords and firearms clatter to the ground.

Kid's blunt words made Sabo grunt, clutching his chest as his face turned pale.

"Sabo! Are you okay? No one could've known that person was a civilian in that situation. Don't blame yourself too much."

Koala looked at Sabo with concern.

"Tehehe, what a touching 'don't blame yourself too much.'" Black Maria, who had been holding back, suddenly laughed, her massive spider lower body reverting to human legs as she sat down.

"What are you laughing at, you spider Beasts? You're the real thug terrorizing this country!" Koala turned and shouted angrily.

"Thug? Hahaha, open your eyes and look around. Where in Wano Country today do you still see people being oppressed? Under Caesar-sama guidance, Wano has become a nation gradually prospering and getting back on track."

Black Maria smirked coldly, pointing at the furious workers.

"Can't you see the anger on their faces? Do you really think we of the Beast God Pirates are forcing them?"

Koala retorted furiously, "Aren't you? If not, why don't you let them go home to their families instead of making them do this dirty, exhausting work in your dark flesh factories? And Hiyori—what have you done to her that she'd actually feel grief for your people?"

"Flesh factories?" Black Maria burst into laughter, her body shaking with mirth.

"What's so funny?" Koala suppressed her rage and asked through gritted teeth.

"Why don't you ask them yourself whether this place is a 'flesh factory' or if we're oppressing them? Let me tell you something, Revolutionaries—do you really think you're saviors? That oppression exists in every nation? Have you ever stopped to count how many countries have been plunged into endless war since your revolution began? How many people die in those wars every year?"

Black Maria sneered. "Have we of the Beast God Pirates killed even one percent as many as you? Were all those rulers you overthrew truly deserving of death? Weren't they people who struggled for decades or even centuries to achieve their positions? So spare me your self-righteousness. You kill indiscriminately without even understanding the truth of matters."

"Is this what you call 'revolutionizing others to ignite the flames of salvation'?"
