Chapter 216 - Chapter 216

Caesar had no idea who Byrnndi World was.

Nor had he ever heard of the title "World Destroyer."

Even if he had, he likely wouldn't have cared.

What truly concerned him was another piece of information in Morgans' mind—one regarding the three Ancient Weapons.

Legend had it that all three Ancient Weapons originated from the Void Century, eight hundred years ago.

Though all three were said to be capable of destroying the world, the truth was that only Uranus could truly achieve global annihilation.

By continuously controlling its attacks, it could utterly obliterate the planet.

It was said that the reason the world's geography was so bizarre—with no particularly large landmasses and the New World consisting entirely of small islands—was because it had been shattered by Uranus.

As for the Pluton, its maximum destructive power was limited to obliterating a single island with one shot.

As for the mysterious Poseidon, Morgans didn't know, but Caesar had learned from Doflamingo that it was the Mermaid Princess, Shirahoshi.

As Poseidon, the Mermaid Princess's ability was to control Sea Kings.

Though Sea Kings were massive—some even reaching lengths of kilometers—they were still just fish, posing at most a significant threat to ships at sea.

"Hmph. As I thought, Imu. If not for possessing Uranus, that ultimate weapon, even if you were immortal, you'd be torn apart by those who resist you."

A shadow of malice flickered in Caesar's eyes as his wariness toward Imu and the Uranus they wielded grew even stronger.

"Uranus… with such immense power, what kind of weapon is it exactly? Are there any limitations to its use? What is its energy source?"

The sheer destructive force reminded Caesar of Rocks.

No one knew that Rocks wasn't actually a Devil Fruit user.

He was a formidable man who combined Haki, martial arts, and physical prowess into one.

His attacks carried a mysterious energy—the same destructive force that had erupted when Sengoku self-destructed.

The level of that energy was extraordinarily high, capable of suppressing even Conqueror's Haki at its peak.

This was the fundamental reason why Caesar, who had once been utterly lawless, willingly submitted to Rocks' command.

Caesar had always wanted to learn this ability from Rocks.

Unfortunately, even by the day Rocks disappeared, Caesar had failed to grasp the secrets of its cultivation.

Morgans' mind still held vast amounts of information about the pirate crews of the New World, as well as the hidden locations of certain powerful figures.

Looking down at the unconscious Morgans, Caesar suddenly realized this would make an excellent intelligence-gathering specialist.

The Beast God Pirates' intelligence network had never been particularly robust.

Relying solely on their subordinate pirates to gather information across the New World—let alone the entire world—was too difficult, and most of the intel couldn't even be verified for authenticity.

But Morgans was different.

As a Celestial Dragon, once he obtained any information, he could cross-reference it with the Marines and the World Government to obtain internal intelligence.

All Caesar needed to do was turn Morgans into one of his own, and the World News Agency's global information network would become a crucial tool for the Beast God Pirates' rise.

Treasure, talent, public opinion, and even certain movements by the World Government—the Beast God Pirates could learn about them all one step ahead.

One step faster meant every step faster, and this would accelerate the Beast God Pirates' growth.

Immediately, Caesar began altering Morgans' memories.

He didn't make sweeping changes to his original memories, only inserting a small segment of fabricated recollection.

Once the tampering was complete, Caesar sat drinking tea, waiting for about half an hour until Morgans groggily got up, looking at him in confusion.

"Huh? Big bro, what happened to me?"

Morgans touched his face and was startled to find himself in human form.

"Holy shit, how did I deactivate my zoan form? Whew, good thing I'm with you, big bro. If anyone else found out about my identity, my career as News Agency President would be over."

"Hehe, Morgans, you suddenly passed out just now. We were in the middle of a great conversation—I'd just mentioned borrowing 100 billion Berries from you when..."

Caesar smiled as he looked at Morgans, recalling the memory fragment he'd implanted.

Over thirty years ago, a young Morgans, stranded in the Grand Line, had been hunted by a pirate crew with no way out—until Caesar happened to pass by and saved him.

Grateful for Caesar's kindness, Morgans vowed to repay the debt someday.

They spent several months together at sea, getting along so well they became practically like brothers.

Eventually, Morgans started calling Caesar "big bro."

After Caesar disappeared for thirty years, Morgans had searched everywhere for traces of him.

Now, having finally reunited with his long-lost brother, Morgans was overjoyed and had specially made time to visit Whole Cake Island just to see Caesar again.

Morgans' jaw dropped, his mouth hanging open as he stammered, "A... a hundred billion Berries? B-big bro, you're joking, right? Holy shit, no wonder I passed out—now I get it."

He wore a bitter smile, shaking his head repeatedly.

Soon, Caesar laughed again.

"Just messing with you, Morgans. You're a household name now—President of the World News Agency. Who'd have thought the guy who once ran so hard he lost his pants would achieve so much in thirty years?"

Morgans scratched his head sheepishly and laughed, "You're the real big shot here, bro. I heard you've been asleep for thirty years, and just after waking up, you've turned the New World upside down. One major headline after another—it's practically impossible not to find you, hahaha!"

Caesar suddenly sighed, as if recalling something he couldn't voice, then fell silent again.

This reaction made Morgans pause, and he cautiously asked.

"Bro, is something troubling you?"

Caesar sighed again. "Ah, too many troubles. Managing this big family—finances, talent, territory—problems everywhere, too many to count. Especially recently, I've realized our Beast God Pirates' intelligence network is utterly lacking, leading to major mistakes in some of our decisions."

"Ah, the intelligence network? Big bro, you should've told me sooner! That's my specialty. I can communicate with birds all over the world, have them carry portable Den Den Mushi and cameras to gather intel everywhere. I'll relay all the collected information to your intelligence officer."

Caesar's eyes lit up, overjoyed. "You mean it? Morgans, don't you dare feed me false info, Borororo!"

Morgans thumped his chest emphatically. "Big bro, how could you say that? You saved my life. If it weren't for you back then, I'd have been killed by that pirate crew the World Government sent. Hmph, they resented me, a descendant of a Celestial Dragon, and wanted to erase me. If I hadn't made some achievements and uncovered their scheme, I'd have fallen for their trap."

Before him, Caesar's lips curled into a faint smile.

Indeed, this fabricated memory was also something he had implanted in Morgans' mind—to prevent him from siding with the World Government.
