sitting on my vanity table putting on some make up, I was getting ready to go see my company's manager, there was a knock on the door "yes, come in" I replied, another maid with short red hair walked into the room, "mistress a package came in for you" she said standing close to the door holding a box, turning my face from the mirror to look at the package it was the bag I ordered, I don't even want to think about how much I bought it, it was worth a mansion.
"please drop it on my bed" I said, turning back to finish up my make up. dropping the bag she left, getting up from the vanity table, I picked up my bag and walked out to my car, driving out of the villa. my company was a twenty minutes drive from my villa, finally reaching the company, I parked my car and walked into the building. it was functioning well, everyone was doing their job. my company is a tech company we develop soft wares and even produce electric parts, for companies that make phones and other things, personally my knowledge about technology is just the basic stuff but I was a genius in business so all I needed to do was gather tech geniuses and give them a well paying job.
walking to the lady in charge of the reception "hello, im here to see your manager" the lady on her computer looked up at me with a smile "good day, do you have an appointment" she said, I smiled back she was polite, good, I feared I was going to have to tell tony to fire someone today "no but he's expecting me, so just tell him adelia Millie is here" I replied, "okay ma'am just give me a minute" the lady said going into the manager's office, I just had to wait a few minutes when a tall figure in suit with glasses on walked out, his black hair neatly combed back he looked like a nerd I chuckled "my mistress, its been so long I thought you were never coming back" he said with arms wide coming in for a hug,
I stood instinctively stepped back "hello tony, mind if we go inside and talk?" I said not waiting for his response, walking past him towards his door and going into his office, walking to the seat in front of his desk pulled it back and sat down, tony walked in after "what should I get you" he said walking towards his desk, "im fine, lets get straight to business" I said, glaring at him to sit down. "yes ma'am" he said finally settling down on his seat. finally he was serious, tony was a very unserious person by nature, he practically joked with anything, its a miracle how I got him to manage something as serious as a company and he's doing really well.
"so mistress tell me how it feels for the world to think you're dead" he said with sly smile on his lips, I cringed looking at him "im sure when I died you partied instead of mourning me" I said, tony touched his chest as if I just stabbed him "ouch that hurt, mistress you know I never believed you dead, I was just happy you're finally free from the grasp of your despicable family" its funny how he didn't deny partying after my dead and what does he mean he didn't believe I was dead, it was obvious I was going to die if alec didn't save me "how did you know I wasn't dead " I asked, he smiled widely "i just know you're to protected to die that easily" what did he mean by this again, I rolled my eyes.
tony was the only guy I trusted the most, but he has this habit of speaking in riddles it gets annoying "by the way back to the reason I came here, I see the company is in the good hand, I plan on finally making it a well known company" I said "finally, I can breathe fresh air" he said looking like he won a million dollar lottery "you'll still be the managing director in name, I have other plans" I responded, "and how are you going to make it popular so sudden" he asked, "don't worry you'll hear soon" getting up from the sit "keep doing a good job tony, I have a gala to prepare for" I finished with a smile before walking out.
