He wasn't very interested in Crystal Release, but he found Transparency Release fascinating. While he already had his own invisibility jutsu, a learnable Kekkei Genkai that specialized in stealth was a priceless commodity for any ninja force.
He tallied his collection. "Scorch, Explosion, Lava, Boil, Corrosion, Ice, Swift, Steel, Crystal, Transparency, plus my self-created Aegis Release, and the Storm Release I can't use... a full twelve Kekkei Genkai."
He had now covered almost every possible two-element combination. The only ones he was missing were a fusion of Wind and Earth, and a fusion of Water and Earth.
