Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: Aftershock and Whispered Truths

Ji-hye's thighs still trembled as she sat on the edge of the bed, toes curling into the floor, breath unsteady, her body flushed and raw. The orgasm had stolen every last ounce of resistance, leaving her body slack and her skin oversensitized to even the softest of breezes.

Harin, already moving with practiced calm, knelt beside her, gently dabbing at Ji-hye's forehead with a cool towel. "Careful," she whispered with a grin, "your legs might still be jelly."

Ji-hye managed a breathless laugh, her face hot. "Is… is it always like this?"

Harin gave her a mischievous smile, eyes glinting. "Mm… the massages? Only if you're lucky enough to get the 'special touch.'" She leaned in closer, voice dropping to a sultry tease. "But if you think that was intense, wait until you have actual sex with him. You won't walk straight for days."

Ji-hye's face exploded with color. "Harin!"

"I'm just being helpful," Harin said innocently, though her smirk gave her away. "Besides, it's obvious you needed it. When was the last time, hmm?"

Ji-hye hesitated, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I… haven't. Not since I broke up with Min-seok."

"Figures. That explains the tension all over your body," Harin said, giving her a knowing look. "You've been running on fumes."

The girls giggled softly, the moment turning more comfortable, warm and conspiratorial. Ji-hye let out a deep exhale, finally able to acknowledge the catharsis she hadn't even realized her body needed. Her muscles felt light, her back no longer stiff, the lingering soreness melting into a sense of deep release.

From outside the room, footsteps echoed, and then a gentle knock on the door.

"I'll give you girls some space," Joon-ho had said earlier before slipping out with the kind of quiet confidence that left Ji-hye's heart pounding. He hadn't looked back, hadn't lingered. Professional, respectful. And yet his hands… her body still remembered every press, every deliberate movement.

She quickly dressed, aided by Harin, who couldn't help throwing in a few more cheeky comments.

"Maybe we'll have a group session next time," she winked, earning a playful swat from Ji-hye.

Just as Ji-hye was tying the drawstring of her joggers, the door to the suite opened again.

"Coach Min's back," Harin noted.

Ji-hye straightened up, pushing her hair back as she stepped out to meet the coach.

Coach Min's sharp eyes scanned her from head to toe. "You look better."

"I feel better," Ji-hye said sincerely. "The tension in my back and hips is gone. I think I can go back to training tomorrow."

Coach Min nodded, then looked at Joon-ho, who had quietly returned. "I want you to stay on and monitor Ji-hye during her first few sessions back. No strain. If she shows even a hint of relapse, I want her pulled out immediately. Understood?"

"Understood, Coach," Joon-ho replied smoothly, his gaze flicking to Ji-hye just long enough to make her heart flutter.

Coach Min turned back to Ji-hye. "You're tough, but don't be stupid. Trust your body."

Ji-hye smiled faintly. "Yes, ma'am."

As Coach Min began unpacking her files, Ji-hye caught Harin's smirk from across the room. She knew—they both knew—this was only the beginning.
