Chapter 241: Are You Afraid to Face Me?!
"Enough," Shamrock's voice was cold, a flicker of impatience in his eyes. "I will not waste my time with this. But I will be watching your performance. Don't disappoint me."
"Of course not," Kizaru said with a lazy smile. "But I didn't get a specific order. I wouldn't want to interfere with your plans, Lord Shamrock. Since you're here, I'll leave Shane to you. The rest of his officers, I can handle..."
"Borsalino!" Shamrock's voice went cold. This old fox... he knows I don't want to face Shane alone. He's just playing dumb.

"Lord Vice Commander!" Qilin roared, but before he could move to help, the mountain of a man, Kuma, was standing in his way.
"You will not..." Kuma said, his voice a gentle rumble as he removed the glove from his right hand, "...interfere with our king."
"Insolence!" Qilin roared, a beam of fiery energy shooting from his mouth.
"That won't work on me," Kuma said, and with a gentle push of his paw pad, the beam was deflected, arcing through the sky and exploding among the distant Pacifistas.
He deflected it?! Before Qilin could process what had happened, Kuma was behind him.
"This is a new move I learned while sparring with my captain," he said, and two spiraling, paw-shaped shockwaves slammed into Qilin's chest, tearing a hole straight through him. "Makankosappo!"

"What terrifying swordsmanship," Kizaru mused, watching the distant clash between Shane and Shamrock. To force a Holy Knight on the defensive with a single blow... "In that case, I'll just have to clean up the rest."
"Yasakani Sacred Jewel!"
Thousands of light bullets rained down on Jack.
"Oh? An Admiral's ultimate technique?" Jack grinned, grabbing the two Celestial Dragons and using them as a shield. "I've got a couple of decent shields right here! Let's see if a dog of the Celestial Dragons dares to attack its masters!"
Cunning bastard... Kizaru's eye twitched. He redirected the attack toward Kuina.
"Bring it on!" she cried, her eyes blazing. "Wind Wall!" A swirling barrier of blue-green wind appeared in front of her, absorbing the light bullets like a sponge.
She blocked it that easily? Kizaru was surprised. He had underestimated her. She was a worthy opponent.
"Sentomaru-kun," he said into his Transponder Snail. "Have the Pacifistas join the fight."
"Understood!"
Ten Pacifistas dropped the unconscious Supernovas and turned their attention to Jack. "Ten of you, huh?" he laughed. "Come on! I'll take you all on!" He tossed the Celestial Dragons aside and charged. "I am one of the Three Calamities of the Curtain Call Pirates! The Earth Rumbler, Jack!"
Ten laser beams shot toward him. He met them head-on, his body coated in a thick layer of Armament Haki. He emerged from the smoke and fire, completely unharmed, and with a single swing of his shotels, cut two of the Pacifistas in half.
"Impossible!" Sentomaru screamed. "You took ten laser beams head-on without even transforming?!"
"Of course!" Jack roared, and cut down two more. "I'm the best there is!"
"You bastard!" Sentomaru roared, swinging his giant axe at him.
CLANG!
Jack blocked it with his shotels. "Not bad, for a fatty," he grinned. "But... you mentioned Vegapunk. You know him, right? Where is he?"
"That's a top-level secret! I'd never tell you!" Sentomaru roared, his face red with rage. "I'm the most tight-lipped man in the Marines! I'd never tell you that he just moved from Punk Hazard and is setting up a new base on Egghead Island!"
"Huh?" Jack was so confused that he didn't even notice another Pacifista sneak up behind him and smash its metal hook into the back of his head. The hook shattered, and the Pacifista stumbled back, its arm a mangled wreck.
"I thought you were an honest man!" Jack roared, finally snapping out of his confusion. "I hate liars! Game over!" He shattered Sentomaru's axe and, with a final, furious swing, sent him flying.

The Supernovas, who had been woken up by the chaos, were watching the battle in stunned silence.
"That's... what's going on?" Sanji asked, his head still throbbing.
"You're also one of Big Brother Shane's admirers?" a familiar, raspy voice said from beside him.
"Of course! He saved my life!"
"Heh. Sounds like a fool I know. We have a lot in common. Who do you think is going to win?"
"Big Brother Shane, of course! The World's Greatest Swordsman can't lose to another swordsman!"
"My thoughts exactly! My friend! Let's be friends!"
"It's a deal!" Sanji laughed, and turned to shake his new friend's hand. He froze. The green-haired man beside him was also staring, a look of horror on his face.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU IDIOT?!" they both roared, grabbing each other by the collar.

"I'll admit, you're strong," Shane said, parrying another blow from Shamrock. "You're at the level of a weak Admiral. But it seems most of your power was in that three-headed dog of yours. Without it... you're nothing compared to your brother."
How... how does he know about my sword?! Shamrock's mind raced. He had lost it months ago, and the search had delayed his plans, allowing Shane to grow even stronger.

Just then, the sound of cannon fire echoed from the distance. A fleet of Marine warships was approaching.
"It seems your luck has run out, Shane," Shamrock said with a sneer. "That's former Admiral Z's fleet. You and your little crew... are finished."
Shane just looked at him and smiled. "Is that so?"
