Shane lay back in his deck chair, a look of mild surprise on his face as he read the newspaper Nami had just brought him. Another nice jump. Breaking the three-billion mark meant that in the eyes of the World Government, he had finally, officially, crossed the threshold into the realm of the Yonko.
Funny... he hadn't even planned on fighting during his trip to Whole Cake Island. He'd just wanted to have some tea, chat a bit, and enjoy the scenery. Kaido showing up had been a complete coincidence, but it had certainly drawn a lot of attention. He was probably a little disappointed that neither of them had died.

"Stop, you little brat! Don't run!"

The owner was about to leave in a huff when a sharp whistling sound came from the sky. Everyone looked up to see a black shadow falling at incredible speed—
BOOM!!!
The tree was snapped in half. Luffy, who had been sitting on the branch, was flattened into the ground like a pancake, not even having time to scream.
