Chapter 1 - – New Generation

Prologue

Millions of years ago, before the first sunrise, the universe was born from three forces that were never meant to coexist

.Darkness: The Ruin.

Light: The Order.

Chaos : The Balance.

Three beings awakened, chosen to bear the burden of these powers:Lucius, the Bringer of Light.Tyrus, the Sovereign of Darkness.Nion, the First Heir of Chaos.

They became known as the Trinity of Yon, the origin point of all creation.

But where there is light... shadow always lurks.

Tyrus rebelled — declaring war on the very foundations of existence. He founded the Order of Tyrus, a legion of zealots who sought to destroy humanity and rebuild the cosmos under the rule of absolute Ruin. And for ages, the universe drowned in chaos and despair.

Until one name rose from the ashes — Ray Stormbreak, the legendary hero who defied gods and monsters alike.Even at his peak, he couldn't completely erase the threat. And so, the burden of hope passed on... to his own bloodline.

Inavy Stormbreak, the Son of Chaos. The Legacy of Ray.The one destined to restore balance between Light and Darkness.

The final battle between Inavy and Tyrus tore through dimensions, burned skies, and shaped the fate of ages. When the last thunder faded, peace finally returned to the world...

But no peace lasts forever.

The sun blazed over the radiant halls of the Central Hero Academy — a city-school built on pillars of technology and magic.Among hanging gardens and glass towers, young prodigies marched in silver uniforms — symbols of the new generation meant to inherit the legacy of the world's greatest heroes.

Among them walked Ryan Valeborn, a fifteen-year-old boy with messy brown hair and curious eyes.In his arms, he carried a worn encyclopedia titled "The Legacy of a Hero."

As he walked, he read aloud softly:

"Inavy Stormbreak, the greatest hero in history, sealed the Order of Tyrus and restored peace…"

The words made him dream — but also reminded him how far he was from that ideal.

Suddenly, a mocking voice echoed behind him.— "Well, well... if it isn't the boy with no aura."

Two older students approached, laughing.— "Still think you can be a hero? What are you gonna save, a cat stuck in a tree?"One shoved him hard. Ryan stumbled, falling to his knees as the book slid across the polished floor.

He didn't answer — only clenched his fists.— "I don't need your approval," he muttered.

The next push was about to land... when a hand stopped it.

ZZZZZT!

— "Enough."The voice was cold and calm.

A young man stood there — black hair streaked with red, crimson eyes sharp as blades. His uniform slightly undone, posture relaxed... but his gaze carried the weight of power.

Ethan Stormbreak, son of Inavy.

The bullies froze. Ethan spun an electric dagger between his fingers — the red glow reflecting in his eyes.— "Touch him again, and you'll need a healer... or a coffin."

They paled and bolted without another word.

Ryan stayed on the floor, heart pounding.— "You're... Ethan Stormbreak?"

— "Yeah." Ethan sheathed the dagger. "But be careful where you walk, Ryan. Those guys are trouble."

Then he turned and walked away.

Hours later, the sound of attendance echoed through the academy hall.

— "Ethan Stormbreak?"— "Here," he said, barely lifting his head.

Whispers filled the room.— Stormbreak? As in Inavy... Ray... and Ron Stormbreak?

Inside, Ethan sighed.

"Again... the comparisons. Ray, Inavy, Ron... When will they ever see me as Ethan?"

— "Ryu Nox?"

A sleepy voice answered:— "OOOOOO!"

A black-haired boy with a lazy grin raised his hand.Ryu Nox, son of Kelvin Nox, the Hero of a Thousand Lights.Students whispered, impressed, but Ryu only winked and waved playfully.

— "Kane Jayson?"

A blond boy with messy hair and cold green eyes lifted his hand without emotion.Son of Trent Jayson, the billionaire CEO of Jayson Corporation.

Ryan stayed quiet.

"I'm surrounded by monsters… How could I ever reach their level?"

— "Ryan Valeborn?"— "Here." His voice was timid.

Kane smirked.— "Valeborn? More like Zero Aura."

Laughter echoed. Ryan lowered his head.

Before he could respond, Ryu stood up.— "You think that's funny, Jayson?"

— "What're you gonna do, idiot? Cry to your daddy?" Kane sneered.

— "No, I'm gonna beat the crap out of you, you spoiled rich brat!"

— "ENOUGH!" the teacher yelled. "Both of you — principal's office, now!"

Ryu groaned and left.Ryan wanted to say something, but Ethan placed a hand on his shoulder.

— "Don't worry about him. Ryu's like that — impulsive. Hard to believe he's Kelvin Nox's kid sometimes."

— "You guys know each other?"

— "Since diapers," Ethan said, chuckling softly. "Blame our parents. We grew up hearing stories of glory… and trying not to live under their shadows."

Ryan looked down.— "Must be nice… having heroes for family."

Ethan went quiet for a moment.— "Not always. Sometimes, it's better to be known for your own deeds. Being a Stormbreak… isn't easy."

Moments later, Ryu returned with a grin.— "Yo! Ryan, right? Ryu Nox — nice to meet you!"

They shook hands. Ethan raised an eyebrow.— "So, what'd the principal say?"

— "One-day suspension." Ryu shrugged. "Kane got three weeks. Justice served."

Ethan laughed. "You never change."

— "Never will!" Ryu grinned. "Now let's hit the mall — The Witcher 4 just dropped!"

Ryan hesitated… then nodded.

The Fellas Mall was a dazzling spectacle of light. Holograms floated in the air, and the corridors shimmered like a living galaxy.Ryu darted straight to the gaming store, grabbing a stack of new releases. Ethan picked up a new console.Ryan, however, just watched from afar.

Ethan noticed.— "Nothing caught your eye?"

Ryan smiled awkwardly.— "I… don't have a console."

Ryu paused, then pulled a brand-new one from his bag.— "Now you do. Let's play together."

Ryan's eyes widened.— "I… I can't accept that."

— "You can." Ryu grinned. "Friends share stuff, don't they?"

Ethan laughed softly.— "Looks like we're a trio now."

The sky burned orange and violet as the three walked back toward the academy. Warm wind carried the hum of the living city.

— "The Hero Draft's in seven months," Ryu said. "Time to start training for real."

Ethan nodded. "Finally. A week off already made me restless."

Ryu turned to Ryan. "You joining too?"

Ryan hesitated.— "I want to… but I'd only slow you guys down."

Ryu smirked and patted his shoulder.— "Don't say that, man. I bet you'd make a great hero — even without aura."

— "You really think so?"

— "I do. I can already see it — us three, an insane trio!"

Ethan smiled.— "Yeah… I can't wait to fight beside you both."

Ryan took a deep breath and, for the first time, smiled genuinely.

"I wasn't born into a heroic bloodline like them.Even if I'm not a prodigy… even if I have to work twice as hard…I won't give up.""Because I have a dream — to become a hero."

The wind carried golden dust under the fading light. On the horizon, the towers of the academy gleamed — and with them, a new age began.

The Age of the New Generation.
