The club was silent now. Blood stained the floors where bodies had once danced. Security footage had been wiped clean, but the air still reeked of betrayal and revenge.
Oba, leader of The Crimson Dusk, stood outside the shattered entrance, eyes cold as ice. He hadn't expected the ambush from The Haven Cartel, especially not during a supposed ceasefire. But this was Lagos—trust was currency, and it had just crashed.
Jide, Tunde's younger brother, had now fully assumed control of The Black Thorns. He hadn't forgotten that night in Episode 2 when his brother's body was dragged out of the canal, lifeless. Vengeance had aged him. At just 27, he carried the weight of war. He had been quiet at the club—watching, waiting.
The Ash Vultures*, a relatively quiet but dangerous group from Mushin, finally made their move. They weren't at the club, but they planted a spy who fed them every second of the crossfire. Their leader, Fade aka "Doctor Zero," knew that striking when both Haven Cartel and Crimson Dusk were weakened would be genius. His men began making silent moves to take territories in Surulere.
Meanwhile, the *Bourne Syndicate*, mentioned lightly in Episode 1, stepped out of the shadows. Operating from Agege, they had mostly been silent brokers, but the chaos was good for business. Their leader, Raji "Knuckles," offered weapons to both sides—profiting off destruction.
Oba summoned a meeting at "The Temple," an abandoned church turned hideout. He called in those who had fought alongside him at the club—Kenny, Zara, Fisayo, and Ghost (from Episode 1). They were now formally initiated into the Crimson Dusk. No more floating—each name had meaning now.
Across town, Jide held a funeral for Tunde, not of mourning—but of declaration. "From now on," he shouted, "every breath I take will remind Lagos that you don't kill a Thorn and walk away."
And then came the twist.
A mysterious note was slipped under Oba's door. Six words.
"He's not dead. Tunde is alive."
