The next day.
Qin Rouxi didn't come to study that day. It was not surprising that she did so. After learning the new technique, she needed to fully master it, and on top of that, she also needed to focus on her cultivation.
It was crucial that she does it since since started way later than her peers. If she doesn't work hard to catch up, then it was over for her. Even with high level skills and abilities and also the guidance of top powerhouse, she would only end up becoming a dust in the ever blowing wind.
With no one to bother him, Ren Wei leisurely relax in his yard.
Suddenly, he sat up from his reclining position.
"Oh my God, how could I forget it." He said to himself and stood up from his chair.
Adjusting his clothes, he disappeared from his manor.
When he reappeared, he was already in front of the official government building.
'Now, time to get those things.' He casually strode inside.
Not a single guard stopped him from walking inside like they didn't see him at all. And it was true. Under the powerful illusion, created by his Ghost Karma Pupils, it was easy to deceive the guards.
With a care, he walked around the office, trying to find the entrance of Royal Mirror Hall.
Using his powerful sense, he quickly determined a secret location.
And his sense was correct, it was a door that likely was the entrance of the hall. However, he met a problem. The place was guarded by a High Earth Grade formation.
Entering silently was not going going be easy as he thought.
And to enter inside, he needed some kind of identity tablet or something like that.
Disarming the formation was also not an option. First, because he didn't know that eye of the formation. It could be inside. And secondly, even if he successfully disabled it, it could alert, not just the people guarding the base of Royal Mirror Hall but also the royal family.
'Well, that was to be expected. How can the base that has lots of information would be so easy to sneak in.' He realized he thought to little of them. Only did he realized he was in a world of fantasy and mystery.
With no option at hand at the moment, Ren Wei decided to leave.
Sighing, he turned around and walked out of the dark tunnel.
Unexpectedly, on his way, he heard the sound of someone coming to his direction. At first, Ren Wei thought someone had discovered him.
But when he thought about it, he realized it wasn't unlikely. So, he thought maybe he was going to the base?
With that in mind, he hid himself, waiting for the man to passed by him.
He would then react after assessing the situation.
Tap.. tap..
The sound of the footsteps echoed through the tunnel.
When the man passed by Ren Wei's spot, he didn't even react.
From behind, Ren Wei slowly and silently followed him.
When the man finally arrived at the entrance door of the base, he took out something like a wooden tablet.
Before he pressed it on the door, he turned around to check his surrounding. Even though he knew he was alone, he could not shake off the feeling that someone was watching him.
To check his feeling, he called out a few times. "Who is there? Come out, I know you are here."
However, nothing or no one came out in his view.
He didn't give up. He called out once more.
But even after more than a few minutes, nothing happened.
The man turned around back to the door, and took a sigh of relief. 'Maybe it was my imagination.'
He brushed it off, thinking it was his mind playing tricks on him as he hasn't been there for quite a while.
After that, he hold the wooden like tablet with its face facing the door and pressed onto the door. As he pressed forward, he injected his Qi into the tablet.
Sensing the familiar Qi and the tablet, the door automatically opened up. But it didn't opened up widely, only enough to let one person passed through at a time.
After the door opened, the man lifted his foot and tried to enter. But before he landed his foot, he stood there for a moment, dazed like something put him into the dream realm.
But it only lasted for a few seconds.
The man shook his head and entered the door. "What was that?" He felt confused to why he was dozing off for some seconds. "Maybe I need to get so,e rest after this."
Murmuring to himself, he walked through the door as it closed behind him.
Unbeknownst to him, his feeling was right. There was, in fact, someone in the room beside him.
And he also unknowingly let someone sneaked into the basement when he was dozing off for a moment.
After entering the basement, Ren Wei walked through another tunnel before ultimately reaching the end.
There, after coming out of the tunnel, he was met with a huge hall full of people.
And they were all in the same unique dresses Ren Wei had never seen before.
On their back, it wrote, 'Mirror.'
However, Ren Wei didn't have time for that. Quickly making up his mind, he hurried towards one of the room, that was likely to have the information.
He knew, without help, searching for the information would take hours. But he didn't care at all.
In no time, he found a room full of information books. And they all looked fresh, unlike the one he saw at the Jade Phoenix Pavillion.
Before checking, he took a deep breath, preparing himself for the upcoming battle of time.
Then, wasting no time, he started checking them one by one.
By the time he finished checking the first row, more than 30 minutes had passed.
'Aisss this will take too much of my time.' Knwoing that it will take more than he expected, Ren Wei suddenly released his two clones.
With a simple nod, the two clones went on there ways to check the other part of the information room.
With three of them working together, it would probably take less than he expected.
Or so that's what Ren Wei thought, but even after checking the whole room, none of them could find even a single piece of information regarding the Blood Mist Hall. By that time, more than 3 hours had passed.
Ren Wei wanted to sigh but he didn't have time for that.
Without wasting another minute, he and his two clones, went to another room that was also full of information books.
Ren Wei didn't have to give them order, the clones directly started checking those books on their own. And he himself also didn't stop.
Another 3 hours had passed and they still was in the dark with no information of the Blood Mist Hall.
For a moment, Ren Wei wanted to turn the whole base upside down. But he stopped himself by calming down.
He decided to check for the 3rd time. Like they always say, third time is charm. And he decided to check whether it was true or not.
With a determination, the 3 Ren Wei marched into another room. This time, the room was a bit bigger than the last two. But Ren Wei's will didn't waver.
As soon as they arrived, they buried their faces into the information books.
Time passed quickly. It was already the starting of evening hour. And Ren Wei was still only at the 2/5 of the whole room.
'I need to hurry up.' As he sensed the time, Ren Wei knew he had to hurry up.
However, when he was halfway though the process, he suddenly sensed something. He heard the sound of people roaming from room to room. Like they were searching for something. And their footsteps sounded hurry.
'Did they discovered something. Well, it was within my expectation.' Ren Wei then turned his attention back to searching the information.
As he continued focusing on the books, he also heard the sound came closer and closer.
With every step of the footsteps, his heart started feel more and more anxious, not out of fear but rather he didn't want to expose himself yet.
As his feeling was about to peak and the sound was just near the door of the room, his clone found the information.
Ren Wei's heart suddenly went back to normal and he smiled. He swiftly called back his clones into his body. The book came along too.
He didn't have time to check the content of the book. So, when the people opened the door, he quickly put the book into his dimensional storage.
When the group of people entered the room, they found it was normal with no signs of anything suspicious.
After looking around the room for a while, they ultimately left. "Go, not here."
After they left, Ren Wei took out the book and checked it.
When he was done with it, he left quietly.
