Chapter 184 - Chapter 184 - The Gathering of Overlords

Northern Orario.

Twilight Manor, home of the Loki Familia.

In the high-level conference room atop the north-facing spire—

A carpet resembling a flower crown, a white stone fireplace, and a tall grandfather clock stretched to the ceiling.

Elegantly crafted furniture filled the spacious chamber.

On the walls, tapestries styled like mural paintings hung proudly—

One of them depicted a goddess clad in spear and armor.

This was the fictional goddess Fiana, worshipped by the Pallum race.

She was a mythic construct born from the idealization of a long-lost knight order—

An order that was once the Pallum race's greatest and final pride.

But ever since the real gods descended to the Lower World—

Fiana's faith had rapidly declined.

And with their spiritual support lost, the Pallums themselves also fell into obscurity.

Finn, a devout believer in Fiana, sought to revive his race and achieve fame.

Thus, he formed a contract with Loki and came to this labyrinth city—the very heart of the world.

(Note: This exposition isn't filler; it's important for understanding Finn's ultimate move later.)

"What?"

"That kid's that greedy?"

"He wants to swallow our entire Familia in one bite?!"

Having heard Finn's report, Loki's expression twitched with visible veins on her temple.

Sitting at his desk, Finn was diligently reviewing a mountain of documents—

His quill pen gliding smoothly across parchment, signing away with practiced ease.

"So, Finn, you agreed to his terms?"

"I did."

Standing beside Finn, Riveria answered on his behalf.

"Pfft—hahahaha! Kids these days sure are cocky!"

"But…"

"I like that kind of talent."

"When the time comes, I'll give him a proper reality check."

The dwarf Gareth chuckled with arms crossed.

Loki mulled things over for a bit—

Then suddenly gave a mischievous grin:

"So, when's this thing happening?"

Finn paused his work, looking up at her with his clear blue eyes.

"One week from now. We'll convene the Divine Assembly then."

"Keep this under wraps for now. I'll keep a close eye on the Freyja Familia's movements."

A whole week would be more than enough time for Raven to make major progress.

"What?"

"The Clown Familia is starting a war?"

Back in the casino's VIP lounge, twelve summoned Overlords were gathered together.

The one who made the comment was Phylon, title: Judicator.

He stood 185cm tall, with a lean frame and a pair of round glasses perched on his nose—

Giving him the appearance of an elegant, scholarly gentleman.

As the commander of the Zeus Familia, his intelligence easily rivaled both Finn and Hedin.

"Ohoho~ How about I just go and wipe them out right now?"

The one who fluttered her lashes seductively at Raven was Regunant, title: Enchantress.

A high elf whose figure and beauty rivaled even the royal Nine Hells.

These nine summoned Overlords, like Silence and Gluttony, had not only been resurrected—

But had also regained the peak of their original power.

Even Maxim, who had lost an arm, had it fully restored through Raven's magic.

Unfortunately…

None of these nine legendary heroes could reach Level 9.

"No rush."

"You'll all get your chance to shine."

"But that time hasn't come yet."

Sitting at the head of the lounge, Raven had learned all their backgrounds by now.

"Alright, it's getting late."

"That's enough for this meeting."

"I've got something else to take care of."

Sensing that the promised time was near—

Raven gave a mental command.

All twelve legendary Overlords vanished together—

Their physical forms dissipated, and the immense drain on his stamina, magic, and mental strength began to recover.

He had no choice.

These people were far too powerful—on a whole different level than any standard Familia.

If he wanted to keep them around permanently, he'd need to reach Level 6 himself.

Currently, only ten summoned units could maintain Level 5 power:

The ancient fairy queen Erelya—

And the nine heroes from the age of the gods Zeus and Hera.

If Raven wanted to summon anyone else…

He'd need to hit Level 6.

Returning to the private room—

Anakrez, who had been quietly sitting on the bed, looked up with her clear blue eyes.

"Might be a bit longer."

"Head up to the VIP suite upstairs and wait for me there."

The casino also served as a luxury hotel.

Its VIP suites were even more lavish than most five-star inns in the city.

"Okay."

Anakrez nodded obediently.

Raven took out a communication crystal and called out:

"Tod."

"Here."

A response immediately came from the other side.

"Arrange a VIP suite for Anakrez. I need to step out for a bit—I'll be back later."

"Understood."

Tod accepted the order at once.

"Alright then, I'm heading out."
