Due to a contract rejection, I will be pausing work on this novel. Please know this decision doesn't reflect a lack of love or commitment to the world of The Weight of Gold—only a need to reassess the best path forward for the story and its future.
I still believe in the heart of this tale—the power, the pain, the legacy—and I remain hopeful that it will rise again, stronger, in the right place and time.
