Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 1 — When Stars Begin to Stir

The skies of Elytharion burned.

A once-thriving Multiverse known for its towering crystalline spires and eternal auroras now lay in ruin. Entire civilizations had been reduced to scattered stardust by a force beyond comprehension. The invaders came without warning, wielding cosmic energies that tore through planets and stars alike.

Beneath the chaos, two families fought for survival: the house of Kael, and the noble lineage of Veyra. Both were protectors of their realm—warriors bound by duty and cosmic honor. But duty meant nothing when facing the endless void.

In their final moments, Kael's parents entrusted him to an elder, who carried the boy through fire and ruin, hiding him deep within the wreckage. The elder fell soon after, leaving Kael to wander alone among the ruins. His once bright eyes now cold, his heart scarred by loss.

Elsewhere, Veyra's mother had encased her in a brilliant crystalline cocoon, a last desperate act of love. The stasis would preserve her… until the stars aligned once more.

Eight years old. Alone. Forgotten.

Time passed. The invasion ended, but Elytharion was a hollow shell. Faint energies pulsed beneath the fractured skies.

Then, one day — a tremor.

A surge of energy split the ground, and a great shatter echoed through the ruins. The crystalline stasis burst apart in shards of radiant light.

Veyra stumbled free, gasping — her aura resonating weakly after so long in isolation. Her violet-crimson eyes searched the empty landscape. No voices. No family. Only ruins.

Not far away, Kael, now taller and lean from months of wandering alone, sensed the energy. He approached, quietly stepping across the broken earth.

The two met beneath the ruins of a collapsed spire.

Veyra tensed — unsure whether to trust the quiet boy with the piercing stare.

"Who… are you?" she asked.

Kael didn't answer at first. He lowered his gaze. "…Kael."

Veyra frowned, brushing dust from her pink crystalline hair. "Strange. You don't talk much, do you?"

Kael said nothing, but something in his eyes—the same grief, the same loneliness—drew her in. Despite her initial caution, a fragile bond began to form.

Days turned to weeks. The two wandered Elytharion's remains together, learning to survive, to fight, to hope.

But the universe itself was unstable. Cracks in reality began to form — dimensional tears left behind by the invaders. One such rift appeared beneath them, shimmering with unknown power.

Before they could react, the ground gave way — and they fell.

They awoke in a strange new realm: The Astrathion Expanse.

Here, stars drifted like leaves on a cosmic wind, and the laws of space bent in impossible ways. In the distance, battle cries echoed.

Drawn by the noise, Kael and Veyra found a fierce battle underway — two warriors, Lyra and Orion, locked in combat against warped, corrupted entities. The air vibrated with raw power.

Without hesitation, Kael and Veyra joined the fight.

Kael, wielding his growing cosmic will, darted between enemies with sharp, brutal strikes. Veyra unleashed resonant waves of crystalline flame, shattering corrupted forms.

Yet the numbers swelled — the young warriors were soon surrounded.

Above, an unseen figure watched through shimmering holograms — a being of immense intellect: Zevak — The Galactic Mindsmith.

Curious, Zevak activated his Imaginative Manifestation, conjuring waves of ethereal constructs to disrupt the enemy. In an instant, the corrupted tide was broken.

Descending from the air, Zevak approached the exhausted fighters.

"I saw potential," he said simply. "You four fight well. But you are not ready for what lies ahead."

Introductions were made. Stories were shared. Each of them — survivors of cosmic tragedies. Each of them seeking purpose.

And so, an unlikely alliance was born.

Together, they traveled across dimensions searching for meaning, for strength.

In time, their journey brought them to a small blue world: Earth.

Unlike the war-torn realms they had known, Earth was vibrant, alive—untouched by cosmic conflict. Drawn to its beauty, they chose to stay for a time.

Adopting human forms, they blended into society—warriors disguised among the ordinary. But even here, they knew danger was never far.

When the stars stirred once more, and new threats emerged from the depths of the Omniverse, they would rise not as strangers, but as a team.

The first sparks of the Celestial Vanguards had been lit.
