"Haha, you're the strongest among us. If you don't go check, we definitely won't either. If something dangerous jumps out and attacks us, you'd be heartbroken, right?" Harumiko said, breaking the awkward silence.
Hiroshi found her reasoning sound and nodded with a smile.
"That makes sense. I'm the strongest here. If I don't go, you three wouldn't dare either," Hiroshi said calmly.
He glanced back at the bushes and whispered, "Actually, there's nothing scary in there. But there's more than one... there are several!"
"What? More than one? That's impossible! What is it?!" Rai, eager to know, asked loudly.
Hiroshi shook his head, smiling. "You really want to know? Okay, but be prepared. Don't get scared!"
Harumiko and the others nodded, mentally preparing themselves.
"I'm so curious! You've been teasing us, Hiroshi. Tell us already!" Harumiko urged.
Hiroshi nodded, smiling, slowly bringing his hand, which had been behind his back, to the front.
"Alright, I'll satisfy your curiosity. I'll tell you what was in the bushes."
"There were several. I'm holding one right now. Are you ready?" Hiroshi said, looking at his closed hand.
Harumiko and the others swallowed, nodding.
"Your curiosity outweighs your fear!"
After seeing their nods, Hiroshi slowly opened his hand.
"Here it is! Isn't it terrifying?" Hiroshi asked, smiling, showing them the contents of his palm.
Harumiko and the others were stunned. They never expected something so cute.
"Wow! It's a bunny! So cute!" Harumiko exclaimed, delighted to see a small rabbit in Hiroshi's hand.
The three of them were overjoyed. As children, they loved cute things, especially wild rabbits, which are rarely seen.
