From the moment he arrived, Hiroshi had been wary of Itachi Uchiha. He knew Itachi was incredibly strong, virtually impossible to defeat, and he'd prayed he wouldn't have to fight him.
But perhaps fate was playing a cruel joke; the system's mission was to defeat Itachi Uchiha.
"Forget it. What's the point of worrying now? What's coming will come. What must be faced must be faced. If I'm afraid now, what will I do when I face other enemies in the future?"
"Itachi Uchiha is strong, but not unbeatable. There are countless people in this world a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand times stronger than him. If I can't defeat Itachi, how will I face them?" Hiroshi thought, weapon in hand, observing his surroundings.
Suddenly, the bushes nearby rustled, startling Hiroshi and his team. They quickly turned toward the sound.
"Everyone, be careful. It could be Itachi Uchiha's team!" Hiroshi said, worried and tense.
Harumiko and the others, seeing his worried expression, nodded. They slowly approached the rustling bushes.
"Rustle... rustle..."
The rustling intensified as they drew closer, confirming something was there.
"Hiroshi, what is it? If it's Itachi's team, they should have come out by now," Rai whispered, seeing the continuous movement in the bushes without anyone emerging.
Hiroshi shook his head; he didn't know what was there.
He tried to activate his Golden Eyes and use his X-ray vision to see what was in the bushes, but a voice echoed in his mind.
"Ding! X-ray vision will be available in thirty minutes."
"No way! There's a time limit? This is bad. I have no idea what's in those bushes! The uncertainty is making me nervous. This is so frustrating!" Hiroshi worried, thinking to himself.
The rustling suddenly stopped.
"What's going on?" Hiroshi whispered, confused.
"We should check the bushes," Harumiko suggested.
Hiroshi swallowed, saying, "Alright, you guys back off. I'll go check it out."
He gestured for them to retreat, but found no one behind him.
"Seriously? You moved that far back?" Hiroshi turned to see his teammates had retreated a considerable distance!
