"Dad, is Daddy dead?" Gunwoo asked between sobs, and then he looked up at Garam with tears in his eyes. "Did you kill Daddy?"
"No, of course not, baby," Garam said, racking his brain to come up with an excuse. Luckily, his brain didn't disappoint him. "I just helped your daddy fall asleep. Your daddy didn't recognize you earlier because he lacks sleep. When a person lacks sleep, it severely impairs their memory."
Fortunately, Gunwoo believed him.
Garam could tell by the way his son's face beamed instantly.

"How do we bring Daddy home?" Gunwoo asked innocently. "The floor is hard and cold, Dad. Daddy needs to sleep on the bed."
