# Chloe's POV#
Three days have passed since Mia's warning, and I can't stop thinking about Gabriel Donovan. His business card feels like it's burning a hole in my purse every time I reach for my keys.
"You should call him," Mia says during our lunch at Bergdorf's. She's picking at her salad while I push food around my plate, my appetite nonexistent.
I nearly choke on my water. "I thought you said he was dangerous."
"I said be careful. That doesn't mean you should ignore a brilliant architect who could make your project legendary." Mia leans forward conspiratorially. "Besides, Chloe, let's be honest here. When's the last time a man like that looked at you the way Gabriel did?"
"I'm married, Mia. Happily married."
"Are you though?" Her perfectly manicured finger traces the rim of her wine glass. "Don't get me wrong, Noah is wonderful. Stable, successful, devoted. But he's also controlling. Possessive. And now that you're pregnant, he's going to get worse."
