*Noah's POV*
"You're right," I tell Scarlett, watching Chloe pose for more photos with Ethan's ring. "I'm not walking away from this."
Scarlett moves closer, lowering her voice. "What are you thinking?"
I turn away from the nauseating display of Chloe and Ethan's fake happiness. My mind races through possibilities, each one more satisfying than the last.
"You know what I'm thinking," I say quietly.
"That you're going to reveal who you really are."
"Eventually."
Scarlett studies my expression carefully. "There's more to it than that. I can see it in your eyes."
She's perceptive. It's one of the things I admire about her. Unlike Chloe, who only saw what she wanted to see, Scarlett actually pays attention.
"I'm not just going to reveal my identity," I tell her. "I'm going to wait for the perfect moment."
"Which is?"
"Her wedding day."
Scarlett's eyes widen slightly. "You want to wait until she marries Ethan?"
