It's strange to be a human and a dragon at the same time. I know I can transform, but why would I want to?
It's been two years since I was born. What can I say? Lily Potter, who is my mum, yes, she is my mother now, she is amazingly similar to my three mothers. The eyes of Death, the hair of Magic, the smile of Destiny. Her character is a mixture of all three. The seriousness of Death, the playfulness of Fate, and the care of Magic. I saw them in her. Lily became my family.
James Potter... I can say that I have no luck with fathers. James was never home. He was always having fun with his friends and running errands for some Archmage named Dumbledore. It would be fine if he was doing it to feed his family, but no, he's doing it for an idea. Even in my cult, all the priests were paid in gold, artefacts, and power for their service! Two words: "The dragon despises." Yes, I despise him. I cannot forgive him for abandoning his son and wife.
My relationship with James was strained. I despised him, he saw it, tried to fix it for the first few months, then cooled off and didn't pay any attention. Well, how did he try to fix it? Stupid games: "Agu, aha, where's Daddy? There he is!" That was all he did.
Now let's talk about my father's "friends." My dragon sense of smell clearly detected all the odours. The thin, smelly man reeked of a werewolf. I was stunned. Not because he was a werewolf, but because of his appearance. In Skyrim, werewolves in human form were always large and strong people. This one, though, gave me the feeling that he was suffering from Stone Gout and Croup! Skyrim diseases. But werewolves can't get sick! Besides, he was a low-level and uncontrollable werewolf. His will was weak.
There was also a short, fat little man. He smelled like Evilrats. I didn't like him right away, which I showed by breathing fire in his face when I was six months old. They blamed it on a magical outburst, and my mother was happy and looked at the rat boy with a vengeful gaze. My father just laughed at his friend. The rat tried to remove the burn... Remove a burn from dragon fire without the help of a dragon? NO WAY! Since that day, he has had a scar across half his face.
The third one smelled like a dog. Not a werewolf, but a dog! Wet and mangy. He sometimes pestered Lily, and James just smiled. I made him impotent using life magic. After that, he walked around as sad as a werewolf. But he didn't bother Mum.
I forgot to mention. His father's smell suited him perfectly. DEER! When he picked me up, I smelled him. I remembered how I ate those delicious, warm, juicy... In short, my fangs grew, I bit off his finger and swallowed it... They blamed it on a magical discharge again, something about the "Seko" spell. They tried to find the finger, but... They couldn't. James couldn't remember anything because of the pain shock. Now he walks around without a finger.
I stayed at home with my mum the whole time. Then the old Archmage came, said something to my father, took a mediocre artefact, in which I recognised the spells "invisibility" and "muffling of footsteps".
Time passed, and the Archmage and my father's friends began to visit us more and more often. I didn't listen to them much. There was something about a prophecy, a hunt, and concealment... Let them play, as long as they don't touch my mother. Lily tried with all her might to reconcile me with James, but he wasn't very interested, and I didn't want to. I developed a strong dislike for fathers in general!
I'm three years old now, and my father is home and even sober! That's what it means to be taught. The spell of life magic that ruins the taste buds for alcohol came to my aid. And I also gave him impotence. It disgusted me to know that he was touching my mother! You bastard, when I grow up, I'll eat you alive.
So, my father is home, Lily is in my room talking to me. All these years she has been with me almost all the time, caring for me and looking after me. She has earned the loyalty of a dragon. There was a knock at the door, and my father went to open it. A scream, the sound of a body falling. Two men entered the room. One was wearing a black robe and carrying a magic wand. The other was the Archmage, named Dumbledore, who was standing under my father's artefact. He stood with his wand pointed at the first man.
"No! Have mercy! Kill me, but spare my son!" Lily screamed. I tensed up. I already knew that my father was dead; a dragon's vision is no joke.
I stood holding onto the walls of my bed as the wizard in black pointed his wand at Lily. No way! I'll banish you to Oblivion! Just as he was about to say something, I sprang into action.
"Fus-Ro-Dah!" I summoned Tu'um, a merciless force that threw back the Archmage and the wizard who dared to attack my mother.
They flew away and crashed into the wall. I pointed my hand at the ground and summoned a drema from the neutral plane of Oblivion, which obeys no one and lives off of summons.
"Master! I hear you!" - said the Dremora, clad in black and red armour. He held a sword in his hands, and his head was crowned with two huge horns. Lily lay on the floor and watched everything that was happening here.
I point to the wizard in the black robe. Dremora happily jumps towards him and cuts off his head.
"Wh... Who are you!? Demon!?" Lily came to her senses and pointed her wand at me.
"I am a servant of Lord Alduin! He summoned me to protect and assist you," Dremora points at me. "You have nothing to worry about, my lady.
"I'll deal with this later, I must inform Dumbledore!
Through the master-summoner link created for better control of summons, I give instructions to Dremora.
"My master ordered me to show you this," Dremora said, using the tip of his blade to remove the invisibility cloak from the unconscious Archmage. "My master said he came with this mage.
I can feel Lily's confusion and fear. I cast a calming spell on her and give new instructions to Dremora. I can't really speak myself, but dragon cries... every dragon can do that from its first breath after birth!
"The master asks that you bring a map.
After calming down, Lily looked at me, and I nodded at her, smiling with my milk teeth showing. She smiled back at me and left, returning a couple of minutes later with a book containing a map. A spell to find the way on the map and set a safe, quiet place. A cross appeared on the map, in one of the mountain ranges. Dremore's order.
"Take the Lord, he has found a safe place.
Lily picked me up, Dremora touched her shoulder, there was a flash, and we were in a cave.
Pov View from the side
Three years had passed since the young Alduin and Lily fled from the world. The world knew they were alive, but could not find them. Spells reliably hid the mother and son from enemies and anyone who could harm them.
For the first six months, they lived in a cave that Lily had made habitable with spells. Dremora brought them food, whom Alduin summoned for hunting or trips to the city. Lily, under her son's illusions, went to the city for everything they needed. She waited for her son to learn to speak normally, or at least tolerably. She got some answers from Dremora, through whom Alduin communicated with her, but not all of them.
Alduin used summoning, transformation, and sorcery spells, his goal being to create a home for himself and his mother. Lily watched this with her mouth open. It's not every day you see an ice block chopping down trees, a Spriggan working on that wood, and zombies walking around and building a huge house. But what surprised her even more was that her son, who was not yet four years old, was creating iron from stone, silver from iron, and gold from silver. IN THREE YEARS! WITHOUT A MAGIC WAND! ETERNAL TRANSFIGURATION! Any magician could recognise magical gold, but the gold created by her son was ordinary, which violated one of Gamp's laws of transmutation.
Half a year passed, and the house was built. It had two floors, each with several rooms. Three bedrooms, a laboratory, a workshop, bathrooms, toilets, and storage rooms. The house was enchanted with protective spells to conceal it, the walls were decorated with animal skins, and swords, axes and shields brought by summoned creatures hung on the walls. In Lily's bedroom, where she slept with her son, there were several mannequins wearing dresses, also brought by the summoned creatures. The wardrobes were full of clothes, and the storerooms were never empty. Mother and son could completely separate themselves from the world without fear of being discovered.
"Alduin, you are already five years old, I know you can speak, stop being silent or communicating through your demons! Or don't you want to talk to your mother?" Lily said, knowing her son's weakness. She knew that Alduin loved her and tried in every way not to hurt her. Alduin just ran up to her, hugged her, and sat down next to her on a chair.
"No, Mum, what do you want to know?" Yes, Alduin was older, stronger and smarter than Lily. But he was a dragon who had recognised her as his mother, and there was nothing he could do about it; that was the nature of a True Dragon.
"I want to know what's going on, where did you get such powers?" These were her main questions; she had already answered the others herself. The image of Dumbledore had been destroyed; he had allowed James to be killed, even though she hadn't spoken to her husband in recent years, but still... And he had almost allowed the Dark Lord to kill her. If it hadn't been for her son, what would have happened then?
"Then listen...
A brief digression
Lily watched her ten-year-old son practise sword fighting with Dremora, who was clad in armour and armed with a two-handed axe, and who was known here as the demon. So many years had passed, she had seen so much, but it was still hard to believe. Her son was the child of three sisters, who had been born here to help the world. Her son, a dragon, to whom other wild dragons sometimes flew to pay homage. Her son, a mighty warrior and wizard who would change the world.
Strangely, she knows who Alduin is, knows his power and history, but still considers him her son and fears for him. When he fell as a child, she was frightened; when he was injured in training, she cried, but Alduin only smiled, treated his cuts and went to calm her down.
She looked at her son, who was blocking an axe blow with his sword. He was tall, with ash-coloured hair, and his eyes had turned scarlet. He was well-built, not overly muscular, but simply solid, which was not intimidating but attractive. Now he was counterattacking and dispelling the demon with a smile. She couldn't help but admire it all. The ten-year-old boy looked like a thirteen-year-old teenager, confident in himself and his abilities.

After dispelling Dremor, I head home. Lily is sitting on the porch, watching to make sure nothing happens. She is the fourth mother I will never be able to abandon or betray.
Soon I will be eleven years old, and I will have to go to Hogwarts. It's strange that no one can find our house, but the postal owls can fly to us with the mail. So many letters have come from Dumbledore and other people, but they've all been burned without being read.
I'll need a magic wand for my studies... Damn that toothpick! What kind of magic can you do with it? I don't need these wands and staffs at all! I didn't learn the spells of this world from Lily, I didn't need them, and I'll have to learn everything at school anyway. You see, I've had a magical contract with the school since I was born. I can break it, but that's boring. I don't know why, but I've started acting like a child, I want to play pranks, play and get into mischief. I'll be able to have fun there.
"Aldwin James Potter! Where are you going?!" Lily asked when she saw me heading into the forest. Oh no... I know she won't like what I want to do!
"I want to transform myself to gather resources for an artefact.
"What resources?" - I hoped she wouldn't ask that.
"Dragon blood and bones.
"Are you going to cut your hands again!?" - It was just once! I wanted to make a sword out of my bone, and I did! My hand grew back in an hour!
"I only need a finger! It'll grow back in ten minutes!
"And why do you need it?!
"I don't need a wand, it's impractical and inconvenient. Spells in this world don't work well without a wand. They work, but poorly, which I think is one of the signs of the disappearance of magic. I want to make myself a ring to concentrate my power. It'll always be on my hand and won't get in the way." You could see Lily thinking. She knew I wouldn't do anything just like that, but knowing that her son had gone to cut off his finger, even if he was in dragon form...
"Okay, but I'm with you!

Moving away from the house, the boy began to be covered with black scales, growing larger and larger. Half a minute later, a three-metre-tall black dragon with a bone crown and red eyes stood in the clearing. He stretched out his left paw and cut off one of his fingers with his right paw. Lily screamed in fear and ran towards the dragon, tearing a piece of her dress and wrapping it around the dragon's paw. Alduin growled in response, pushed the woman away and freed his paw.
A couple of minutes, a few spells, and the finger grew back. Half a minute later, the boy was standing in the clearing again with his mother, who was holding a bloody piece of cloth and the dragon's finger.
"I can't watch this..." said the girl, while Alduin smiled and went home to his laboratory.
At home, he took the bloody rag and squeezed the blood out of it, which, under the manipulation of magic, began to shrink and turn into three small rubies.
He began to transform the bone into dragon silver. Alduin remembered his mother's death pendant in the shape of a skull and the necklace of magic with a dragon. Smiling, he created a skull out of dragon silver, and then a small dragon hugging the skull with one wing and tail. He inserted the bloody ruby into one of the skull's eye sockets and the other two into the eyes of the silver dragon.
The transformed bone of the son of the three sisters, like the rubies from his blood, perfectly gathered magical power and made it possible to control it.
"Levioso!" - said the young dragon, uttering a shortened levitation spell and placing the ring on one of the potion vials. It immediately rose into the air. A satisfied smile appeared on Alduin's face. All that remained was to cast a couple of spells, and everything would be ready!
"But I'll still have to buy a magic wand. There's no need for unnecessary people to know about the ring, even if it's not critical.
