"You!"
Feeling mocked, Wyper glared fiercely at Sherwin, while Gan Fall remained calm…
"Because he just too strong," the old man sighed with some dejection.
"Once someone catches his attention, they're basically defeated the moment they meet him… In fact, most of the time, people don't even get to see him in person.
He has a move called God Judgment, which, combined with another ability called Mantra, allows him to strike any target anywhere on the Sky Island—even if he himself is sitting inside the Divine Shrine on God Island."
"Mantra? What that, meow?"
Huamei Meow immediately caught the key point.
"It a peculiar ability that lets Enel and his priests sense things beyond their line of sight, and even predict their enemie movements…"
"Eh? Isn't that Observation Haki, meow? Klee can do that too~" the little ragdoll cut off Gan Fall explanation.
"But that bad guy Enel is really amazing—his Observation Haki actually covers the entire island, meow!"
"Observation Haki… So that what people from the Blue Sea call Mantra?"
Gan Fall nodded in understanding. Having had many interactions with Blue Sea people, he immediately grasped the cultural difference.
But even knowing that Sherwin and the others had mastered Observation Haki, he still wasn't optimistic.
"Even if you understand Mantra, you still won't be Enel match," the old man sighed again.
"His power is invincible. Just his God Judgment, which can strike anywhere across Sky Island, is enough to keep me, the former God, from daring to approach. I can only hide in some remote corner of the White Sea to barely survive."
"Cowardly fool! You've already been frightened by Enel! But we Shandians will never give up! One day, we'll take back our homeland from Enel and you Sky Islanders!"
Wyper was all talk—his strength wasn't even on par with Luffy before he set out to sea. In the manga, the reason the Straw Hat crew struggled so much on Sky Island was mainly because they hadn't yet adapted to the high-altitude environment.
On top of that, none of them were skilled in aerial combat, and they didn't fully understand how Sky Island dials worked.
If it had been Germa who arrived on Sky Island instead—those three brothers skilled in aerial warfare—they would've easily swept through everyone except Enel himself.
"You keep going on about this God Judgment thing. What kind of attack is it, meow?" Haibara Meow asked impatiently.
"It a massive lightning pillar that drops vertically from the sky. Anything struck by it—be it a person or an object—instantly turns to ash. Only the deep crater left behind serves as proof of Enel terrifying power."
Gan Fall voice trembled slightly as he answered.
Hearing this, Sherwin couldn't hold back anymore. Rolling his eyes, he questioned, "You all know it a lightning strike, so how come none of you have figured out what kind of Devil Fruit ability Enel has?"
"Yeah, isn't that obvious?" Purah Meow tilted her head, blinking in confusion.
"It either a Climate Fruit that controls the weather, a Shock Fruit related to electricity, or the Rumble-Rumble Fruit… Based on what you said, the most likely one should be the Logia-type Rumble-Rumble Fruit, meow."
"If it the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, then it all makes sense," Robin said seriously, picking up the thread of conversation.
"Among all Devil Fruits, that one of the few abilities that can truly be called 'invincible.'"
"Invincible, huh?" Seijuro Meow twitched his ears.
"How does it compare to monsters like the Astalos, Zinogre, or Kirin, meow? Not to mention the Thunder God Dragon or the Golden Lion I've yet to see. I wonder how that human called Enel would fare against them, meow."
(=`=)
Link Meow smugly lifted his chin toward Seijuro Meow, showing off that he had personally seen both the Thunder God Dragon and the Wind God Dragon.
"Is that so? How strong were they, meow?" Seijuro Meow eyes lit up, leaning closer with curiosity.
(=ω=)
Link Meow scratched his head awkwardly—back then, he'd only caught a glimpse of those two dragons before being blown clear away by the Wind God Dragon, who'd been busy courting his mate.
"Robin sis, which one stronger, meow? That bad guy Rumble-Rumble Fruit, or Klee Flame-Flame Fruit, meow?"
(=ω=)
The little ragdoll asked with some dissatisfaction.
"Uh… there no real elemental advantage between lightning and fire, so I'd say they're about equal."
Robin thought for a moment, deciding to spare Klee Meow feelings a bit. In truth, lightning advantage in speed made the Rumble-Rumble Fruit the stronger of the two if compared seriously.
Of course, if you counted Klee Meow development of the Flame-Flame Fruit—and that backpack full of bombs she carried around—that would be another matter entirely.
"If we're going up against lightning, I could try making a few sets of rubber combat suits, meow," Haibara Meow muttered, rubbing her chin just like Sherwin often did.
Purah Meow leaned in beside her and said, "If we're making anti-electric gear, I've got a few ideas too, meow~ We can try several designs! Check it!"

After learning about Enel ability, the Felynes didn't become afraid—instead, they were even more eager to take him on.
"Hmm… in that case, our rubber stock on the ship might not be enough, meow…" Haibara Meow turned to Gan Fall. "You guys sell rubber here, right?"
"Rubber? What that?" The old man and Wyper both looked completely baffled. "I don't think we have anything like that on Sky Island."
"So there no rubber on Skypiea? No wonder no one could deal with that Enel meow." Haibara Meow shook her head.
"That going to be a bit troublesome meow…"
"Ah!" Sanji Meow suddenly turned his head toward Sherwin, leapt onto him, grabbed his collar, and started shaking him.
"You bastard! You knew from the start that Enel ate the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, didn't you?! No wonder you bought so much rubber back at Water 7 meow!"
Sherwin shrugged with a smug look. "Well, you guys never asked me. You all keep saying I know too much anyway."
Then he pressed down the still-flailing Sanji Meow and explained, "That guy Enel got a screw loose.
He must've read some weird ancient texts or something and started thinking that living in the sky, above the clouds with no land beneath, was unnatural for the people of Skypiea.
So, as 'God,' he decided he had to correct it. He destroyed his own homeland, Birka, and came to the land with solid ground—the Island of God… or rather, the other half of Jaya Island."
"Also, he isn't really trying to conquer this place. What he actually wants is to use the gold from the Shandian holy land, Shandora, to build a flying ark so he can travel to what he calls the true dwelling of God—the Endless Vearth.
In truth, it just the moon. And with his personality, before he leaves, he'll definitely wipe out everyone here—whether they're Skypieans or Shandians."
"What?!" Gan Fall and his mount, Pierre, were both shocked.
Meanwhile, Wyper focus was caught by something else—what Sherwin had just said about the Shandian holy land, Shandora…
"Damn that Enel! How dare he defile our sacred land!"
After struggling with his emotions for a moment, he softened his tone slightly and said, "Can you tell me more about our Shandian homeland? I'll atone for my earlier actions—and repay you for it!"
"Mm, actually what I know is kind of scattered…"
Sherwin saw Wyper soften and didn't push it — he let it go and briefly told them about Jaya, Shandora, and the old tale of the tall-tale king Noland.
He couldn't remember many of the details clearly he thought to himself he should've checked Noland journal with Kulik first.
Still, the Shandians had their own stories about Noland and Kalgra, so with Wyper filling in from the side, they were able to piece together the general picture.
"So the famous North Blue story is like Germa 66 — not made up?" Robin couldn't help but sigh.
"Looks like I should pay more attention to those well-known storybooks from now on. There could be other hidden histories in them."
Wyper, upon hearing that descendants of Noland were still searching for the Golden Country, grew excited.
"I will take our homeland back from Enel, and I will light Shandora beacon again!"
"Provided that bell hasn't been melted down by Enel, meow."
At Haibara Meow delightfully sharp reminder, Wyper went rigid.
Sherwin had been about to say the Golden Bell should still be safe for the time being, but considering this guy had attacked them without a word before, the vengeful Hunter chose to stay silent.
"Sherwin, brother, so are we going to beat up that bad guy Enel later, meow?"

The little ragdoll didn't care one bit about the Golden Bell or the light of Shandora. She jumped excitedly in front of Sherwin, sprawled across his chest, looked up with sparkling eyes full of anticipation, and asked, "So Klee Meow can throw bombs again, meow?!"
"Of course," Sherwin nodded with a smile.
"Enel was one of our main targets for coming to Skypiea in the first place."
