Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Seven Roses and a Second Chance

Some moments are stitched in destiny.

No matter how torn the threads get, they find a way back—because love, when real, doesn't dissolve.

It returns. Sometimes quietly. Sometimes in the form of seven roses.

🧷 A Plan in the Shadows

It had been days since Raksha Bandhan.

Siya's words still echoed in Abhi's heart, and he knew—this love wasn't over.

And when love aches this deeply, the universe listens.

Together, they planned it all.

Siya: "Bhaiya, I'll tell Mom and Dad that I'm going to my friend's house for a group project."

Abhi: "Make it believable. If they doubt, it's over before it starts."

She nodded. Her hands trembled, but her heart was steady.

She had to see him.

Not on screen.

Not in memories.

But face to face.

🚪 The Escape

On 8th September, her parents dropped her off at her friend's house.

As soon as the gate closed behind them, she took out her phone.

"Bhaiya, I'm out. Come quick."

Within minutes, Abhi arrived.

No words. Just a nod of understanding.

She got on his bike, clutching a small bouquet of seven roses wrapped in cream-colored paper.

In her pocket, folded neatly, was a letter.

🧭 The Place Where It All Began

They arrived at the same quiet lane near Ruhan's house—the spot where they used to meet, laugh, hug, and live in their little bubble.

And there he stood.

Ruhan.

Tall. Silent. A little thinner.

But just as breathtakingly beautiful as she remembered.

He saw her and froze.

"Siya…?"

She smiled—shy but glowing.

"I asked you to come because I needed to say something. Not over text. Not over calls. In person."

She handed him the letter.

"Turn around while reading."

Ruhan blinked in confusion but obeyed.

📜 The Letter

The letter said:

"Every day without you was like living in a paused moment—where everything moved but me. I laughed, but never truly. I smiled, but never with my soul. You were more than my first love—you were my home. And I want to come back home."

By the time he reached the last line, his hands trembled.

He turned around.

And there she was.

Siya.

Standing in front of him, holding a bouquet of seven red roses, her eyes shimmering in the golden afternoon light.

💬 The Proposal

She took a deep breath.

"I know we hurt each other. I know we broke. But even then… even when we weren't talking… not a day passed where I didn't wish you were still mine."

"Ruhan… I can't live like this anymore.

Every day feels like hell.

I miss you. I need you.

And I only want you in my future."

Ruhan just stood there. Frozen. Staring.

She stepped forward, roses still in hand.

"I'm not perfect. I'm messy and impulsive and loud and broken. But I love you. I really love you."

"Say something… please?"

He slowly walked toward her, took the bouquet with both hands, and whispered—

"I love you too, Siya. I always have. I was just waiting for you to come back."

And then?

He pulled her into a warm, shaking hug.

Their hearts beat against each other—not fast, but steady.

Safe.

Finally, safe.

🕒 The Short Forever

They only had 15 minutes.

But those 15 minutes were enough to fill the empty spaces of the last several months.

A touch.

A smile.

A tear wiped by the person who caused it.

A whisper:

"Don't leave again."

"Never."

She looked into his eyes and said,

"This time, even if the world burns—I'm not walking away."

🏠 The Return

Soon, Abhi dropped her back at the same friend's house.

Her parents picked her up an hour later.

Nothing seemed different to them.

But inside Siya's heart?

Everything had changed.

She was whole again.
