You Have High Technology, I Have Magical Power
The cannon fire from the Star Wars destroyer was illuminated by countless rays of demonic light formed from a jade-like finger. The light first gathered into several points, then condensed into a single beam. Suddenly, it changed direction and shot toward the golden bridge formed by the Taiji diagram.
The Eight Immortals standing on the bridge were instantly terrified. Iron-Crutch Li and Lü Dongbin gritted their teeth, raising their gourd and twin swords, prepared to fight to the death. However, the unknown young leader was even faster. He quickened his steps, shrank his body to an inch in size, reached the head of the bridge, and calmly waved his feather fan beneath the glow of the destroyer's cannons.
With a gentle flick, infinite miracles were released—secrets powerful enough to determine the fate of the universe and unlock the stars themselves. The destroyer's cannon fire changed direction once again, but instead of striking back at its enemy, it slammed violently into its own allied Northern Punishers.
Witnessing this horrifying scene, Darth Vader roared in grief and fury:
"Zhuge Kongming! How can you be so despicable and ruthless? We are allies!"
The handsome youth holding the feather fan—leader of the Eight Immortals—was none other than Zhuge Liang, freshly awakened from Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Having just joined the Daoist Sacred Sect and taken Master Fire Dragon as his teacher, he had come to the Journey to the West world under orders to cultivate and seize the treasures left behind by a quasi-emperor.
The beam of light struck at terrifying speed—so fast that even Darth Vader had no time to summon another star destroyer to form an energy shield. At the critical moment, Hulk Banner stepped forward without hesitation, sacrificing himself to save Vader. His entire body turned emerald green, towering like a massive mountain as he stood before his companions.
Boom!
The concentrated cannon beam slammed directly into Hulk's chest. The red light in his eyes instantly dimmed.
This was a devastating attack from multiple space-based super-weapon platforms, its destructive power approaching that of the Death Star itself. Hulk had already been injured by the Scorpion Spirit's poisonous stinger—a cruel method used by the Buddha to make him suffer. Though his gamma-enhanced immunity healed him, it consumed enormous energy, temporarily crippling his defense and regeneration. Under the relentless bombardment, he lost his senses, collapsed like a fallen mountain, and crashed to the ground.
Darth Vader survived only because of Hulk's sacrifice. He did not attempt to rescue his fallen comrade. Instead, he glared bitterly at the Scorpion Spirit and Zhuge Liang, ignited his lightsaber, and unleashed a surge of Force lightning. He contacted the star destroyer, ordering it to dive and draw fire while preparing an emergency retreat.
"Lingdie, Veigar—eliminate the Queen at all costs!"
Lingdie obeyed, enduring intense pain as she let out a soft cry and charged into battle. Wielding her spiritual energy blades, she fought desperately, hurling shuriken, divine whips, and spears in all directions, battling the monsters with fearless resolve.
Veigar, however, was extremely cunning. He responded verbally, leapt into a high kick—but before landing, a bolt of lightning pierced his body. His form dissolved into blue light, shooting into the sky as he escaped.
"Damn those three—no discipline, no coordination at all!" Darth Vader raged helplessly.
He shielded Captain Marvel and used the tractor beam to return to the star destroyer. They did not make it in time. Moments later, a message appeared in the team channel:
Hulk has fallen in battle.
As they boarded the ship, Darth Vader and Captain Marvel unleashed a Force storm and Zeus-like lightning from afar to suppress the monsters, covering Lingdie's retreat. She seized the opportunity, fighting as she withdrew.
Among the demons, however, a clever Black Bear Spirit sneered when it saw her stance.
"Little girl, once you fall into my hands, you think you can escape? Pure fantasy."
The Black Bear Spirit chanted a spell. Its black tassel spear spun through the air, summoning violent winds that transformed into chains, binding Lingdie tightly from the waist down.
"This is bad—no!" Lingdie cried as she was struck and thrown violently to the ground.
"Die!" the Black Bear Spirit roared, raising its claw and smashing it down.
At that instant, a strange terror seized him—as if time had frozen. When awareness returned, his elbow came crashing down again, completely destroying her beautiful face.
In the shared team channel of Darth Vader, Captain Marvel, and Veigar, the same message appeared simultaneously:
Lingdie has fallen in battle.
The Northern Punishers were devastated. Shazam was especially heartbroken. As they prepared to charge down the mountain for revenge, Darth Vader stopped them with the Force, keeping them at bay.
"Shazam, you must stay calm. You can't die here. Break through and report everything to the Demon Ancestor and Commander Lucy. Revenge will come. Ten years is not too late. The Journey to the West demons, the heretic Yang Ye, and that treacherous little Zhuge—none of them will escape."
Thanks to the Wisdom of Solomon, Captain Marvel understood the situation. Crying, he followed Vader back to the star destroyer.
Seeing the Northern Punishers retreat completely, Lü Dongbin asked Zhuge Liang:
"Sir Zhuge, should we strike now and wipe out the remaining enemies?"
Zhuge Liang slowly shook his head.
"No. Let them finish digging the underground palace. The treasures left by Sage Zhunti are not easily taken. Besides—where the mantis stalks the cicada, the oriole waits behind."
Understanding dawned on Lü Dongbin.
As the Eight Immortals withdrew, only the local monsters of the Journey to the West battlefield remained. After heavy losses, only five demon kings survived: the Scorpion Spirit, the Black Bear Spirit, and three Rhino Kings—Bi Xu, Bi Han, and Bi Chen.
The bodies of Hulk and Lingdie were collected together. The Scorpion Spirit, the strongest among them, claimed both as trophies, sealing them away with powerful spells.
Soon after, the demons opened the underground palace—only to awaken an ancient guardian.
A furious voice echoed:
"You ignorant fools—how dare you trespass upon a saint's palace again?"
A massive golden turtle emerged, wielding the Chaos Hammer, striking down the demon kings like broken kites.
As the Black Bear Spirit engaged in desperate combat, the black-robed Daoist revealed his true strength. With a sudden feint, the Chaos Hammer struck again—this time landing solidly.
The Black Bear Spirit fell, defeated at last.
