Chapter 439 - 439: The Evolution of Rejedo

Using the genes of the other three bodies as reference, the Blood Sea Clone rapidly improved its genetic composition.

Several months passed.

Through repeated experiments and careful inference, Rejedo raised the Blood Sea Clone's gene level to 10,080 times. At that precise moment, during the creation of a new race, he discovered the most suitable genetic structure for the Blood Sea Clone.

The vast Blood Sea finally surpassed 10,081 times its gene potential, reaching perfection as a life form.

The Blood Sea accelerated its expansion, nurturing small clones, absorbing energy from the Dark Dimension, and merging them back into itself.

"Originally, the plan was to use the Blood Sea Clone for gene research and energy storage," Rejedo reflected. "But plans can't always keep up with change. For gene research, the Black Light Virus is far more suitable. The Blood Sea now serves as a support structure. And for energy storage, the Rejedo Clone holds energy equivalent to twenty-four Universes, far surpassing the Blood Sea."

"Now, the main body's Kryptonian gene has reached a complete and perfect state. To advance further, it must transcend ordinary Kryptonian limitations, even the limitations of the race itself. Genes previously devoured by the Black Light Clone can now be studied and integrated. But first, perhaps I should push the Rejedo Clone further."

Rejedo now possessed super-single entity strength. His consciousness could penetrate the principles of any observation. From a perspective transcending the Universe, he examined the light factors of his own genes, immediately identifying flaws and the directions for improvement.

10081, 10082… 20,000!

Within hours, the Rejedo Clone's gene level surpassed 20,000 times. The transformation slowed with each increment, but the pace remained astonishing.

At this time, Rejedo himself retrieved the Infinity Stones, entering super-single entity strength with their aid. Observing his Kryptonian genetic structure, he could discern its flaws, but deducing the direction for evolution proved far more challenging than with the Rejedo Clone. Incremental improvement took years.

"The Rejedo Clone's essence has transcended the Universe, so reverse research is straightforward," he reasoned. "But my own life essence is unchanged. I can only search among countless possibilities. To accelerate progress, I should use a stronger Kryptonian gene as a reference. A visit to the DC Universe is inevitable, and genes of other creatures can serve as additional reference."

Each species followed unique evolutionary paths. While the Rejedo Clone's gene far exceeded his own, it could serve only as a reference. Direct replication risked losing his Kryptonian identity entirely — potentially transforming him into a Rejedo Ultraman.

One day later, the Rejedo Clone's genes surpassed 30,000 times. His body, already 90,000 kilometers tall, grew ever taller as he integrated vast amounts of Dark Dimension energy.

90,000 kilometers, 100,000 kilometers… 1,000,000 kilometers.

Rejedo now stood as high as a hundred Earths stacked together.

"After perfecting the gene, four stages of evolution remain: 30,000, 60,000, 90,000, and 100,000 times," Rejedo calculated. "The Rejedo Clone has reached the first stage. At this level, height increases tenfold, maximizing energy storage and resilience in battle. Even so, the additional energy still falls short of that possessed by a true conceptual entity. There is no rush for further gene evolution."

Once conceptual, he could create m-bodies. He planned to first generate clones, then continue gene research with the primary clone.

In the Marvel universe, m-bodies require the mysterious M-Dimension. Rejedo projected his consciousness through the Rejedo Clone to create m-bodies, investing a portion of his power in each. The energy allocated could be chosen freely. Super-single entity m-bodies would weaken the Rejedo Clone significantly. Most Universes only required planet-busting to galaxy-busting levels, equivalent to Skyfather strength.

Rejedo discovered he could control the m-bodies directly or allow them to act autonomously under justice and order. He chose direct control, relying on his strong will.

However, as the m-bodies multiplied, managing them became increasingly taxing. When the number reached one million, he halted further creation.

"One million perspectives… I feel like I'm losing my mind," he muttered. "For now, this is enough; more would make control clumsy."

Under the Rejedo Clone's super-single entity nourishment, his willpower and soul strength soared. Yet controlling one million bodies simultaneously remained a formidable challenge — like attempting to write perfectly with both hands, only to produce chaos.

If he continued expanding, mistakes could happen. During combat, he might aim at an enemy with Spark Legend but accidentally strike Earth instead.

Surveying his one million m-bodies, Rejedo quipped, "It's unnerving. I feel like a dragonfly, seeing the world through countless compound eyes."

He communicated across Earth's dimensions through the God Kingdom, preparing to teleport the m-bodies. Yet interference came swiftly — the Ancient One, Strange, or Wong quickly blocked him.

I'm still working on exams, but if I use that as an excuse, at this pace, uploading even one fanfic could take months, and I don't want that.
