Jaxon let Fenja vent out all of her feelings until she got tired and eventually fell to her knees. She was kneeling down, hyperventilating, with her wrists still within his grip.
Only when she didn't move and stayed still did Jaxon also kneel down and look at her closely. There were a few cuts on her face; it seemed that she fell or she scratched herself.
"Let's go home."
Fenja was breathing raggedly, and when she no longer had any desire to fight him, he carried her in his arms.
By this time, the rain had stopped, and it had passed midnight.
Jaxon walked with Fenja in his arms towards a car that had been waiting for them. The Alpha had mind-linked the warrior and let him park a little bit far from him and Fenja because he didn't want any interruption when this woman was having an outburst.
He deserved all the punches for what he said, after all.
