[Lord Aoki Sora]…
It's him again, Aoki Sora!!
He…
He's been confessed to, again!!
Just like a few months ago, he once again received two confessions from beautiful girls in a single day!
Including the two from before, that's four different girls now. Four unique styles, four different confession formats. Not a single one was the same.
This…
Hinata was shy and gentle. Yugao was proactive and suggestive, with a pure and elegant charm. Temari went straight to the point, even proposing marriage, bold and straightforward. And the latest, the red-haired girl named Karin, used every flirtatious move in the kunoichi playbook, seducing with wild abandon.
There was even peach-scented background music…
Four girls, four completely different styles. Even their hair colors were perfectly distinct with no repeats. Aoki Sora… he was unreal.
Just who was this guy? What kind of divine existence was he to have so many different beauties vying for his affection?
And it was all made public worldwide!
Could it be that he has so many girlfriends that even [The World] couldn't take it anymore and decided to start broadcasting his confession scenes ahead of time?
If that's the case, then just how many girlfriends does he have…?
"Uh…"
In a forest clearing near Konoha Village, Aoki Sora twitched at the corner of his mouth once again.
After a few months of calm, now that the Chūnin Exams were beginning and things were slowly unfolding, his previous peace was being broken once more.
He—or rather, the girls linked to the heroine routes in the game—were suddenly triggering [Confession Points] like crazy again.
Just when he had finally enjoyed a few months of peace…
Now, the spotlight of the entire world was going to fall on him again!
"Damn, you really are popular with the ladies, huh?"
Not far off, Yugao Uzuki commented lazily.
She had once thought that after she and Hinata confessed, Aoki would need to choose between the two of them. If that happened, she might even quietly step away. After all, Hinata was closer in age to him, and she was gentle and beautiful.
But then an outsider—[Temari]—appeared out of nowhere.
And now another girl, one she'd barely even heard of—[Karin]—also showed up!
Just how many girls was this guy connected to?
"Well… they're the ones confessing to me, it's not like I'm the one chasing after them…"
Aoki muttered with a helpless look.
Hinata, Yugao, Temari, Karin…
And in that video, the unshown or yet-to-be-triggered routes included Hanabi, Kurenai, Sumire… and more.
While it might look like a "perfect harem route" in his imagination, if things kept progressing like this, wouldn't it become a "perfect battlefield of jealous lovers"?
But that shouldn't happen… right?
After all, in real life, he wasn't actually going to accept every girl that confessed to him in those videos!
For example, Temari was already way more complicated in reality than in the game.
As for Karin, it was unlikely reality would play out the same as in the game, replicating Sasuke's encounter with her during the Chūnin Exams.
In the second round of the exams, he might not even bump into her by chance. And even if he did, would she really just so happen to get attacked by a big black bear, letting him step in as a substitute for Sasuke and rescue her—prompting love at first sight?
The chances of her being separated from her team and just so happening to run into a bear were low to begin with. Even if those two coincidences did occur again, [love at first sight] was something forcefully scripted by the game. In reality, it wasn't that simple.
After all, [love at first sight] is one of the most unpredictable things in real life. Even if the same damsel-in-distress scenario played out, Girl A might fall for Hero A but feel nothing for Hero B.
That's reality.
The game just [set] it up so she would always fall.
So in reality, Karin's route might be even harder to replicate than Temari's. The first step in the chain could break right away. Even if the confession was triggered now, it might just end there with no follow-up.
But wait!
Aoki Sora's heart suddenly stirred.
If he remembered correctly, right now Karin hadn't yet been taken away by Orochimaru. She was still under the care of others, living off of handouts, without the strength or self-confidence she would later develop. She was weak, helpless, and pitiable.
If, right now, it got out that in the "future" she might have a relationship with him—maybe even leave her current caretakers to follow him…
"I'm heading out for a bit!"
Aoki quickly shouted to Yugao Uzuki, Hayate Gekkō, and Hotaru Mizumura.
In the next moment, he was already racing toward the gates of Konoha.
He could only hope that because of the Chūnin Exams, that girl had already arrived in the village!
In any case, the first stop was the registry at the gate!
Unlike Naruto and the others in the original who didn't even know about the Chūnin Exams until the Sand trio showed up, Aoki, who often circled the village already knew all about the Chūnin Exam schedule and Konoha's arrangements.
"Uh…"
Back in the clearing, Yugao blinked, briefly stunned.
Then she left Hayate and Hotaru to their training and quickly gave chase.
"Karin, you damn girl…"
"So not only do you want to throw yourself at that [Lord Aoki Sora], but you're that bold?!"
Near Konoha's gate, two men with "M" forehead protectors had already surrounded Karin.
Their eyes were full of fury and resentment.
And Karin looked utterly panicked.
OG Author's Note: (T/L: Please read )
This novel doesn't follow the usual pattern of a few chapters of canon videos + a couple of shock reactions + one or two chapters of NPC rewards, then repeating. Compared to stories where everyone is shocked by direct video scenes, this one leans more into creative interpretations and wild imagination (though serious analysis is mixed in too). Much is conveyed through implication—for example, NPCs speculating on the protagonist being the "Sixth Hokage Nominee" or "Defeating Gaara." These are all left for the characters to infer and imagine.
Of course, there are real fight videos too, but…
Let me give a small spoiler: the game and reality are not the same. While playing the game, the protagonist could use cheat codes…
So, certain scenes… you get it.
When reading, feel free to imagine this: the protagonist hacked the game to make cool videos, which are then broadcast in the real world—and treated as truth.
But of course, as the protagonist, he can't just rely on fake cheat-code videos, right?
So in reality, he'll make himself even stronger than those edited clips!
The videos are shocking, but he's even more terrifying in person! Also, each game route gave him different abilities, and after editing them together, NPCs gained "intelligence" from the cheat footage, preemptively theorizing storylines and strategies. And then-
"Wait, didn't it say he only uses Shadow Clones and Rasengan? I spent months figuring out how to counter that… and now he's using Amaterasu and Susanoo?!"
Of course, that's just an example. I'm still testing this writing style and don't expect to nail it perfectly the first time. Performance so far has been average, but I really hope everyone who finds and enjoys this novel will support it!
Also, regarding a comment about Sakura in the review section:
Honestly, Sakura was never considered for the main character's romance. When I wrote the outline, I had no intention of including her. There will be no significant interactions or romance with her in the novel. There are plenty of great heroines in Naruto—Hinata, Hanabi, Kurenai, Yugao, Temari, Karin, Hotaru… and more to come. Wouldn't it be better to focus the story on those stronger candidates? A harem doesn't mean collecting every girl…
