◎ Brief History Up to the Start of Canon
After death, received special perks and reincarnated. Practiced senjutsu self-taught until meeting Kuroka just before middle school, finally getting minimal proper instruction.
During his second-year middle school trip, got caught up in an incident caused by a Tsuchigumo. Ironically solved it, becoming Kunou's fiancé (technically still a candidate) and earning the chance to receive senjutsu training from Magari alongside Kuroka.
Around the time he entered high school, unexpectedly encountered Toujou Koneko. Managed to reconcile the sisters - afterward, he'd summon Koneko to train with Kuroka. However, since it was just summoning contracts, his allowance disappeared every time, so he couldn't summon her daily.
...The nekomata sisters basically drained his wallet dry.
◎ Personality
Appearance is based on Kurogane Ikki from Chivalry of a Failed Knight mixed with Angra Mainyu from Fate (wild-type Ikki?).
The main reason he's endured Kuroka's temptations for years isn't self-control - it's because he activates Ittou Shura before bed, forcing himself to sleep from exhaustion.
Since he knows how to guide Issei, he might continue being a boob advisor at key moments.
Prefers hidden eroticism over blatant exposure (Example: Full panty shots < panty flashes < impenetrable skirt defense).
He was horrified by that certain problem child anime where the Japanese-dressed loli gave someone a "almost visible but not quite" gift.
◎ Trivia
Some academy girls initially shipped him with the Three Perverted Idiots, but after Ikki joined the Occult Research Club, pairings with Kiba Yuuto and Hyodo Issei became more popular.
Kiba Yuuto is the Prince, Hyodo Issei is the Beast, and Arima Ikki - despite Kiba being the actual knight - got dubbed the Knight.
The reason? He always protected the girls from the Three Perverted Idiots... Though he doesn't radiate gentleman vibes like Kiba, so they cast him as a mercenary-turned-knight.
◎ Reincarnation Perks
1. Ittou Shura
From "Chivalry of a Failed Knight" - the ability to "give everything for one minute," leaving him unable to move afterward. Once activated, it can't be canceled midway. Ikki considers it a inferior version of the Boosted Gear... and he might be right.
Advanced techniques include Ittou Rasetsu and Ittou Gaki. The former gives "everything in one second," the latter "everything in 20 seconds." Though Ittou Gaki's 20 seconds is just a guideline (technically anything over 1 second but under 60 seconds at full power).
Don't ask if using it at 59 seconds has any meaning.
Techniques beyond Ittou Shura can't control the physical strain, leaving his whole body wrecked. Ittou Rasetsu would leave him near death. Not "fainted" - actually near death.
2. Verg Avesta (Fake Copy that Records All)
Angra Mainyu's Noble Phantasm from Fate, based more on Hollow Ataraxia than FGO settings.
A Zoroastrian curse of "retribution" that returns damage received directly to the attacker. Once activated, even gods would struggle to defend against it... though recently it's become clear it only works "once per opponent."
Can manifest the symbolic deformed daggers Zarich and Taurvi. As the bond with its wielder strengthens, Divine Nature gets added as a side effect.
Balance Breaker???
3. Self-Destruct
A Pokémon move - "200% power, halves opponent's defense for damage calculation." Incredibly powerful, but leaves the user "fainted" and immobilized afterward.
Technically usable again if Asia heals him (even 1 HP recovery), but keeping her on standby near Self-Destruct isn't realistic.
Self-Destruct's power calculates from Ikki's maximum life energy capacity, so it doesn't get stronger during Ittou Shura (since Ittou Shura boosts instantaneous output, not maximum capacity).
◎ Skills
Senjutsu: Physical enhancement through fighting spirit, various debuff effects by disrupting opponents' ki, presence concealment and detection - a wide range of abilities. After Magari's training, he has the skills of a proper senjutsu user (by Magari's standards).
Has derivative skills involving Sanskrit characters, using applications to store "important items" in subspace.
Divine Nature C+: A skill similar to but distinct from a divine core, acquired through Verg Avesta. Functions mostly the same, providing resistance to special attacks.
Like carrying the presence of gods through divine weapons or shrines, even without being a god himself. Slightly different from Fate's Divine Nature.
◎ Familiar
Name: Izuna
A specially created tube fox that can split into up to 75 copies, though usually just one.
Can possess others to enable covert communication between possessed individuals, or lend aura to the possessed. However, possessing someone stronger generally requires their consent.
Power grows with the owner's strength (currently average low-class devil level).
Since copies are dispatched to Kuroka, Koneko, Kunou, and Magari, only 71 remain with him.
