Chapter 30 - Incredible Scene

"The rest is up to you."

"This time~ there won't be any problems."

Vlad tilted his head slightly and spoke to Muriel with a calm tone.

It was as if everything that had just happened was merely a trivial event.

As if it wasn't even worth Vlad's attention.

He glanced at Muriel with deep, smoldering eyes, then turned and walked away without waiting for a reply.

Behind him, Muriel watched with blazing, reverent, almost fanatical eyes—joined by many witches whose gazes were filled with awe and complete submission.

Back at Muriel's residence, Vlad was welcomed by Aleera and Marishka, who both greeted him with astonished cries and worshipful eyes.

It was obvious that the earlier scene had made a deep impact on them.

"Master, you were so handsome! I—I feel itchy again…" Marishka said with a burning gaze, like a puppy eager to please its owner.

"Yeah, Master, you were just so cool! I think I'm falling completely in love with you!"

Even Aleera, usually a little more reserved, couldn't help herself. She hugged Vlad's arm excitedly.

However, before the two could take things further, they suddenly noticed Vlad's face was turning pale.

Alarmed, they hurriedly helped him sit down on the bed.

With worry on their faces, they asked, "Master, are you alright?"

Looking at Aleera and Marishka, their eyes red and full of concern, Vlad felt a warmth bloom in his heart.

He smiled gently and reassured them softly, "It's nothing. I just used a bit too much strength earlier—don't worry."

In truth, even he hadn't expected the move to drain him so much. In Dracula Untold, the same technique had seemed effortless.

This just proved once again that there's a huge difference between film and reality.

"Really?"

The two girls let out a breath of relief after hearing Vlad's calm confirmation.

"Master, you really scared us just now…" Aleera said, still a little shaken.

Marishka nodded with a sweet pout on her face.

Vlad smiled faintly and didn't dwell on the topic. Instead, he changed the subject:

"Did you find the white witch I asked you to look for?"

"Yes. Based on the information Muriel provided, we found her residence," Aleera said.

"But…" She hesitated, as if unsure how to continue.

"What is it?"

"That witch already has a family. She's married—and has two kids around five or six years old," Marishka added.

"I know. So what?" Vlad asked, frowning slightly at their hesitation.

"You… you already knew?" Aleera blinked in surprise.

"Then… why are you still looking for her?"

Noticing the way the two women were staring at him, Vlad suddenly realized what they were thinking.

He looked at the two of them, both clearly imagining something dirty.

Irritated, Vlad flicked each of them on the forehead.

Damn it—do they really think I'm just a brainless playboy?

Do I have no dignity at all—chasing after every woman I see?

No way! Even if you beat me to death, I won't admit to that!

As the two girls looked up at him with their innocent, wide eyes and watery gazes, their lips pouting in protest—

"What are you doing~? We won't say anything anymore, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, we'll be good—but you won't even let us tease you a little."

Vlad sighed and stared at the ceiling in frustration. What a failure of education… Looks like I still have a long way to go if I want to raise them right.

When Aleera and Marishka noticed the deep expression in Vlad's eyes, a strange chill ran down their spines, raising goosebumps on their soft skin.

Before they could figure out what his look meant, Vlad spoke:

"White witches are different from black witches. Black witches are skilled in combat, but white witches specialize in healing and support. They're extremely knowledgeable, and their help can be far more useful than that of black witches."

"Besides, she's a powerful high-level white witch."

"Before Muriel's recent breakthrough, she was the strongest witch in the region."

"Now do you understand?"

His disappointed tone made the two girls immediately lower their heads in shame.

To be fair, it wasn't entirely their fault. After all, ever since Vlad had started "training" them, their thoughts had definitely become a little... off-track.

At that moment, Muriel—having finished overseeing the witches' relocation—headed toward Vlad's room to report in and check if there was anything else to organize.

But her perception of Vlad had changed drastically. A new sense of devotion and strange emotion filled her heart.

Muriel, who had never believed in gods and had never worshipped anyone, now felt emotions toward Vlad that went far beyond reason.

When she arrived at the door and was about to knock—

Suddenly, strange sounds echoed from inside, causing her hand to stop midair, as if burned by an invisible flame.

Her calm breathing quickened slightly.

Hearing the unrestrained moans, Muriel—being a mature woman—immediately understood what was happening.

She blushed, flustered, and tried to leave… but for some reason, her legs refused to move, as if rooted to the spot.

She held her breath subconsciously and leaned closer to the door, listening.

Her face reddened further, as if she were doing something shameful.

Suddenly, her body trembled. She had accidentally nudged the door open slightly—and saw something she couldn't believe. Her legs pressed together instinctively.

"Hnng~"

A soft, sensual sound came through the door.

Startled, Muriel glanced through the crack in the doorway—

Only to meet Vlad's gaze directly.

In a panic, she covered her rosy lips and scurried back to her room.

But when she returned, her mind was still flooded with the scene she had just witnessed.

Muriel, who had vowed to become the queen of witches, who had been single for 30 years—

Found herself unable to shake that image. Her long-dormant body now burned with a surging, uncontrollable desire.

She tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. Her arms and legs moved involuntarily, and as time passed, her clothes slipped off piece by piece.

Back in the bedroom, Vlad looked at the door in confusion, then loosened the rope in his hand and walked over. He opened the door and scanned the corridor.

Thinking he had imagined it, he paused as he began to shut the door again.

Muttering to himself, "So there was someone here just now…"

At the threshold, there was a faint, mysterious damp stain.

"Master~, Aleera is bullying me again! Come help me!"

Hearing Marishka's soft, teasing cry from behind, Vlad glanced again at the spot on the ground—his gaze dark and meaningful.

With a casual reply over his shoulder, he shut the door and returned to the bedroom, a wicked grin slowly spreading across his face.
