Chapter 2 - Prologue - A Lone Voice Echoing from the Brink of Oblivion

If you were given the choice between forgetting and remembering... what would you choose?

"That question echoed in my mind, long before I realized I was in a strange place. The voice felt like a whisper of wind slipping through the cracks of time, soft... but impossible to ignore."

In the middle of a darkness that seemed endless, I floated. No body. No senses. Nothing to feel. Just fragments of thought… like the pieces of a dream left unfinished.

"I don't even know who I am. Or… what I really am. And then, suddenly a light appeared."

Thin, barely visible. But enough to make me realize I wasn't alone. A small crack in the darkness, like a mirror starting to break.

And from that crack… a voice called out again.

"Reian Hinoda. You've been asleep for too long. This world can't wait any longer."

I wanted to ask, who was calling me? What did it mean? But before I could form the words, the light pulled me in. No-dragged me, as if it didn't want to give me a choice.

"Where... am I...?"

When I opened my eyes, the world around me felt foreign. The sky had no color. The air was cold, like it held centuries of sorrow.

I was lying on a cracked stone floor, covered in dust and moss. Tall walls towered around me-some had already collapsed. A faint blue light pulsed from strange symbols carved into the stone.

"This... is clearly not my room. Not a hospital. Not even a world I know…"

But before panic could sink in, footsteps echoed.

_Tap. Tap. Tap._

Someone appeared from behind the ruins. Their hair was long and silver, eyes as cold as frozen crystal. Their robe moved with graceful steps that didn't feel rushed.

They stood before me.

"So, you're finally awake, Reian Hinoda," they said.

I wanted to ask, who is this person? How do they know my name? But my mouth wouldn't move. It was like my voice was stuck in my throat.

They looked at me for a moment, then stepped closer.

"You can call me Lysandra Elara. But... my old friends used to call me Lyss."

I didn't know how any of this started. I didn't know who I really was. But one thing was clear: this world was calling me.

"And that voice... the one that brought me here... it wasn't just a dream."

"You are the Seal Keeper. And your time has come."
