Chapter 208 - Chapter 208: Cheers to the Universe, Cheers to the New Life

"So, you arrived on Earth many years ago?"

"And you've even been cooperating with the American Government for years?"

"And ever since the KSI Company, by studying the wreckage of Decepticon and Autobot battles, developed artificial Transformers, your former allies turned hostile, like jackals trying to devour you completely?"

"During your escape, you were severely wounded and eventually rescued by John and Teddy?"

After Dante finished speaking, he looked at Optimus Prime.

"That's right, you have basically understood our current predicament."

Optimus Prime nodded. He had originally thought it would take some effort to persuade this man.

But he did not expect his acceptance to be so strong.

"Our Federal Bureau of Investigation's goal has always been dedicated to the Great Unity of the Universe, closely uniting every corner of the entire Universe."

"Are you sure? Since when did we have a slogan like that?" Harley leaned over to Dante and asked curiously. "We haven't even figured out this small patch of Earth yet, and we're already preparing to head to the Universe?"

"Alright, shut up!" Dante rolled his eyes.

He had never seen an accomplice undercutting him while he was trying to bluff someone.

Although the individual combat power of the Transformers was not that great,

the big villain they faced could truly be considered a formidable one.

Unicron.

Of course, that title was mainly for show, it just sounded impressive.

There was still a gap between him and the truly great god-level figures.

But he could basically be viewed as a Transformer version of Ego the Living Planet.

Yes, that was Star-Lord's biological father.

Compared to a villain who could be mentioned in the same breath as Ego the Living Planet, the American Government and KSI were just small fries.

But Dante still smelled something from this incident.

The smell of conspiracy.

Although the American Government was full of politicians, a nest of vipers, they were only evil, not stupid.

Gradually eroding control over the Autobots through cooperation and tricking these not-so-smart guys onto the operating table was not difficult.

But why directly pursue them?

Although this clumsy method also had a high chance of success, it cost too much manpower and resources.

How could these sophisticated egoists choose a method that did not maximize their interests?

Unless…

This was just a cover.

To cover up the true motive.

Dante looked at John and Teddy.

Especially Teddy.

He had not forgotten what Amanadiel had told him.

This Teddy Bear possessed a one-billionth fragment of God's true spirit.

Although he had no power, his authority and aura were real.

Could someone within the American Government have also discerned Teddy's true identity?

Otherwise, why did the pursuit of the Autobots, who had been constantly hunted, completely stop after they were rescued by John and Teddy?

Did they really think this barn was some kind of reality-bending device? That once they entered, the outside world would forget about them?

Could it be that the American Government's true target…

Was Teddy?

Then Dante looked at John with the same suspicious gaze.

The target could also be John.

Some high-ranking officials within the American Government might have known Superman's identity.

They chose to let John fall into an unsolvable major problem, eventually forcing him to seek help from his adopted brother, Superman.

The American Government could also use this as an excuse to make some demands of Superman.

This was much gentler than directly kidnapping parents or similar methods.

For the sake of his brother John, the Kansas Big Guy might really compromise.

Wasn't this just bullying an honest person?

Dante thought a lot, but it was still just speculation.

"So, do you have any demands?" he asked Optimus Prime. "I can send you away from Earth, but I don't have the cosmic coordinates of Cybertron."

"Cybertron has… been destroyed." Optimus Prime shook his head. "Earth is our second home. We just want to continue living on this planet."

Dante nodded. Clark was an honest person.

"Alright, I'll settle this for you."

He had a good impression of Clark. His character was beyond reproach.

So, no matter whether the American Government wanted to touch the power of God or the power of the God of Humanity in this matter, Dante had to help them.

If he didn't mess it up for them, then he, Dante, had never eaten a steamed bun.

"Since that's the case, Optimus Prime, I have a question for you Autobots…"

"Dante, please speak."

"I can let you live openly among humans, and even get you legal identities, but you…"

Dante paused, looking at the Big Guy's face as he said,

"Do you mind transforming into agricultural machinery?"

"Living on a farm, you always need machines to harvest Mazikeen and pick cotton, don't you?"

The Family, a mysterious organization that emerged from World War I.

The composition of its members is unknown, but they are spread throughout the upper echelons of government in major Western countries.

Through vast financial and political power, they secretly manipulated the development trajectory of the entire Western world in modern times.

Derek C. Simmons is the current leader of the Family.

But now, this man, who could be said to wield power over the entire Western world, was kneeling on one knee on the ground.

His respectful posture made him seem like a lowly servant, a tiny speck of dust.

With his head bowed, his eyes were filled with fervent faith and worship.

"Lord, as per your command, I have released Lex Luthor."

"That Teddy Bear and the human named John have also completely allied with those Transformers."

"Next, shall we officially begin our plan?"

On the pure white throne, high above, sat a gentle old human male.

He swirled the wine glass in his hand, simply watching the crimson wine cling to the glass wall and slowly flow down.

He did not speak, he merely waved his hand.

Derek C. Simmons, as if pardoned, nodded and said "Yes," then left the hall with a fervent expression.

Immediately, the entire hall was left with only the old man.

He gently placed the wine glass on the table.

Closing his eyes, he felt the excitement and prosperity of the universe particles.

How long had it been since he last felt this way in his own universe?

A thousand years? Or five thousand years?

He had long since forgotten.

"But this place, no matter what, is much better than that broken universe."

"It's just that the people here seem to have some problems with their brains."

"I just came to his house for a drink, why did he treat me like God? And I did not say a word, yet he imagined an entire evil plan."

"Although I used to be called God at Site-17…"

"But if I were to take it seriously myself, it would truly become a joke."

After speaking, he raised his wine glass.

"To this new universe."

"And to my own new life."

(To be continued.)
