That afternoon, Yohan stood outside his house as he spoke on the phone with Helen.
"So what do you say?" he asked.
He explained everything about the Jade Island investment to her, describing it as a sure opportunity to gain a lot of money; all she had to do was invest a few million.
"So because I asked why you haven't asked me for money, you decided to ask for all my money?" Her voice was light and playful.
"It's not like that," he chuckled. "I really need the money, and I assure you that you'll get way more than whatever you choose to invest. Trust me."
"I do," she said without any hesitation. "But you're asking for a lot of money, and I'm a bit worried… maybe when you come over this night you can find a way to convince me." She bit her lips as she spoke.
Yohan smirked; he didn't need any more clues to what she was saying.
"Don't worry, I'll work really hard," he said flirtatiously.
"Okay, see you then," her voice raised slightly before she ended the call.
