"This is for your own good, and for the stability of the village."
"Cooperate with the investigation?" Yoncher scoffed. "You immediately act like interrogating a criminal, and one of you was ready to attack me—is that what you call cooperating?"
"I'm just a child!"
The three Anbu just stared in silence.
Yoncher continued, "I was captured by some freaks for experiments. I barely survived! It's a miracle I made it back alive!"
"We're from the same village—we're teammates!"
"Where's the bond we used to talk about?"
"Aren't you going to ask if I'm hungry or injured?"
Tsubaki Saeko: "Are you injured?"
Yoncher: "Nope, not a scratch."
Tsubaki Saeko: "Are you hungry?"
Yoncher: "Not really, I already took a Military Rations Pill."
Tsubaki Saeko: [Speechless expression]
The other two Anbu stared silently.
This brat definitely has serious screws loose!

Yoncher spotted three figures passing nearby. His expression shifted slightly, and he immediately waved and shouted, "Patrol Force, come here!"

Hattai Uchiha was about to reply when his eyes suddenly fell on Yoncher's sword.
At this moment, Yoncher still stood behind Seito Sarutobi.
His long blade remained lodged beneath Seito Sarutobi, with only part of the blade visible.

"I barely made it back alive, and instead of checking if I'm okay, you're all talking about investigating me again—glaring, frowning, what's wrong with you people?"
"Hattai Senior," he continued, "I'm one of your own clansmen! Aren't you going to ask if I'm hurt or hungry?"
Tsubaki Saeko clenched her teeth. "Yoncher, I just asked that exact question. You're not injured, and you're not hungry either."
Hattai Uchiha and the two others remained silent.
Yoncher turned to Tsubaki Saeko. "Miss Sister, I *am* their clansman. It's true I'm not hurt and not hungry, but shouldn't they at least pretend to care?!"
"I've been gone for ages. Now that I'm back, not even a word of concern? Do they want everyone thinking the Uchiha clan is cold-hearted and falling apart?"
Hattai Uchiha and his companions were on the verge of losing it completely.
They seriously wanted to smack some sense into him!
But if they attacked him now with Anbu watching and everyone else around, it might actually make people believe the Uchiha really were heartless and divided.

"Fine then, I'll just explain what happened to me."
Yoncher rolled his eyes and frowned slightly. "Hmm? Are you just going to stand there listening?"
Hattai blinked. "What do you mean?"
Yoncher raised an eyebrow. "Every word I say is critically important. Don't you all plan to take notes? Shouldn't someone be writing this down in detail?"
"How else are you going to report back without written records?"
Hattai Uchiha exchanged glances with the Anbu agents. Everyone silently pulled out notebooks and pens with dark expressions.
What the hell? Why are we letting him boss us around like this?
If it weren't for worrying that the Anbu would think the Uchiha were disunited, we'd have smacked him already!
"Alright then, here goes the story."
So Yoncher began speaking while Hattai Uchiha and Tsubaki Saeko took notes.
A simple enough tale was thus recorded.
