Raymond's pulse quickened.

"You've got a fine place— A handsome butler too. I think Marcus likes me" Scarlet chuckled, walking towards him.
"Don't you find me attractive?" She smiled tapping a knife against her palm.
"Sorry... I know you find Marcus attractive— he doesn't seem to think that of you" she chuckled.

"Really? That's the question?" Scarlet shook her head, disappointed.
"Was that our friend Nico on the line?"
"I don't know what you're talking about" he straightened up as his back hit the chair.

She threw a file towards him, "Dear old Bucky gave this to me as a gift— such a nice friend, bless his soul"
"Sign it— it's a letter of property transfer" she commanded, tossing him a pen.
