Gloria was shoved into the car, and Sebastian slammed the door shut. He walked around to the driver's side, got in, and started the engine without a word.
"Where are you taking me?" Gloria asked, watching the unfamiliar streets pass by as they pulled away from the courthouse.
Her question was met with a long, stony silence.
Sebastian had no intention of answering her.
Gloria clutched the seatbelt tightly, her eyes fixed on the scenery speeding past the window. Was it her imagination, or did the surroundings seem somewhat familiar?
Moments later, the car came to a slow stop in front of the Windsor family mansion.
Gloria's eyes widened in shock.
This was Sebastian's home, unchanged from three years ago.
Why had he brought her here? Was Amara being treated here? Did he want her to apologize to Amara in person?
A furry of thoughts raced through Gloria's mind.
The car door opened, and Sebastian's cold voice called from outside. "Get out."
