Honestly, the only one's with S++ qualification are the former elite four. Sabrina unlike rest did not get low points for discipline as after Ash freed her she immediately corrected her ways and acted just as a gym leader should. She even reached S qualification which was honestly impressive.
Flora who was sitting quite said "I will ensure this type of behavior does not happen. I appologize in my sister stead." She bowed her head in shame. Though strength impressive but Erica current behaviour could not be ignored. Gym leaders were after all the face of Kanto and there reputation in mud is equal to league bad reputation in mud.
"Well then this matter shall be left to Miss Flora then. What is your thought Mr Pokemon" I asked.
"No need to be considerate for me Miss Regina. If I have objection I will state it. Same with the other board memebers."Mr Pokemon said. Means to just do as I please but not cross the line.
Lorelai too seemed highly unimpressed with Kōri Gym strength. She was after all the former gym leader of kōri gym and during her time it was one of the top 3 strongest gym in Kanto with S++ strength level. Looks like her successor was unable to live up to her name.
If I remember correctly her successor is her younger sister. The gym was handled by the frost family, Lorelai family.
"Live the matters of increasing the Kōri Gym strength to me Miss Regina. I will ensure that the gym will see its former glory." Lorelai said with conviction in her voice.
"This matter is left to you then Miss Lorelai." I said calmly. She nodded at that.
"What about the normal type gym. Half the pokemon species have normal as its secondary attribute, for ex-Pidgeot, Fearow etc. Also there are pokemon with only normal attribute that give nightmare to trainers like Tauros, Kanghaskhan and Snorlax," I said with furrowed brow.
Sure the latter set are rare but being part of the league defense line, having rare pokemon is not that uncommon. Not mentioning pokemon like Clefable and Wigglytuff as before release of fairy type, in real world too very few used it. And in this world fairy type have been discovered a few months ago so there is no use questioning about them.(Author note-No offense to those who loved Clefable and Wigglytuff even before fairy type was released)
The official were silenced. They were gonna give the excuse of normal type being weak but I hit the mark. In Kanto there are many normal pokemon which though stupidly rare are very strong and have a record of dominating the league matches if used by right trainer.
Plus pokemon like Pidgeot were no joke. And I there champion herself have a fearow too which have fought and won against one of the elite four pokemon when challenging for champion title.
"I can understand poison type gym since the new gym leader has just taken the mantle, but what about Water type gym, a D. That qualify for a gym discontinuity."
"Also though Cinnabar gym have impressive strength but what about this hidden gym. It would be difficult for new trainers to challenge themselves like this.
What about the new gym leader for Viridian gym. When will it be assigned."
Third pov-
The entire bordroom was silent. No one had anything to say. The new champion was famous for her radicle thinking and strict ways. In her first meeting only she negotiated such that Kanto and Jhoto finally separated there shared league.
She was also able to find very strong trainer who more than quallify as elite four and even convinced Giovani to take up the title of elite four. She also launched a immediate assesment for the gyms.
Though dismanteling cerlulean gym, it was run by the famous watterflower family. The previous leader was though no longer a gym leader still a part of the league. And replacement for a formidable gym like Viridian gym is not easy.
"Let me take care for the succesor for Viridian Gym. As a former gym leader its my duty anyways." Giovani said.
"Then it is up to you Mr Giovani." I said. Feels weird with Mr and Miss but need to maintain professionalism.
"How about a challenge, between all B teir strength gym leader, we will give them there review and say that we are giving them chance to prove themselves." One official says.
"We can have them compete among a competetion. The winner will get a prize which will definitely motivate them." Another added.
"Plus no one really likes to be weak. The gym leader will definitely work hard to get in a higher ranking." Another said. But someone immediately hushed him. He was newly promoted it seems. Ambitious and actually good with work but loose with words. The entire bordroom went silent. After all even implying that a gym leader of there is weak is a joke on them only who have recruited them. And no matter who recruited, each gym leader appointment was approved by every member of the bordroom. So yeah. Its technically a joke on them only.
