I followed after Flora on aerodactyl.
'Strange she keeps circling the mountain. What is in it. Shouldn't she investigate what's wrong.' I wondered curious, when the mountain vibrated once more. The mountain began to rise. Turns out the mountain was not a mountain but a GIANT TORTERRA! Whoa this is just like in movie detective pikachu.
"Lord Torterra, I am Flora Evergreen, the descendent of Milan Evergreen who once helped you. You in return gave us the ability, a strong affinity towards grass type pokemon which have helped our clan for generations to understand grass type pokemon. I flora Mokoto pay respect to you Lord Torterra. " Flora said.
Torterra looked at Flora and said like an elder wh had seen world for millenials "Ah, I remember now. She did help me once. A descendent you say. Now that I think about it you do look like her.
"Yes sir torterra among all the descendents I am said to have the most similar facial features of all." Flora said with tears in her eyes.
'how can you look similar to your descendent who lived ages ago. Isn't it just torterra going with the flow and agreeing to whatever you say.' I thought with a sweatdrop.
"Hmm who is this friend of yours." Torterra asked.
"She is.." Flora was about to say but I interrupted her befoore she could continue.
"Hello Torterra, Um I am Regina the current champion of Kanto region. Its a pleasure to meet you." I said with a smile.
"I thinks that's the title you human use for strongest trainer in the region don't you." Torterra said.
I nodded at that saying "Yeah, but our duties far surpass than that, we are to ensure that no crime occurs.
"Torterra ask then what of the wild pokemon. what if they are in distress." Torterra ask. I paused at that. Not becuase I did not have an answer but because it sounded like torterra was asking for himself. Nut why would torterra need help. His status is:

His level and class are so high that Nelly is unable to determine it.
I smiled and said "For that pokemon rangers are there but if the situation is too worse then we champions and elite four also intervein."
"Its our job too to protect pokemon but we come to help pokemon rangers when the worse case happen. Our main duty is to protect citizens and pokemon from criminals with the assistence of police officers."
I don't really want to talk about the topic of pokemon smuggling and how criminals hurt and sell pokemon. Giving a vague answer would be the best only as I don't want torterra to have wrong impression about humans, plus I don't think torterra knows the extent of human cruelty. In past life all the events that happen in pokemon movie was because either humans hurt the legendry pokemon causing them to not trust humans. The last thing I need is for someone like torterra to not trust human.
Torterra smiled and said "It wold be perfect then. I actually would need some help. From both you and Flora." So torterra did need some help.
He sighed, his eyes filled with tiredness like someone who have seen the stars birth and death. "You see for the last few hundred years the toxins in the ground has been increasing. I don't know the details exactly how it has been increasing but the wisteria tree is not liking it."
"What is wisteria tree." I asked confused.
"Wisteria tree is the tree of life that grows on lord torterra back only. It is responsible for kanto flora, if what lord torterra say is true then it might be very harmful for all living species of kanto" Flora said.
I turned to torterra and saw that there sure was a unique tree on torterra back. If what they are saying is true then its indeed a dire situation. The complete loss of all flora (plant life) in a region would lead to a total ecosystem collapse, resulting in a series of catastrophic environmental changes and the eventual death of most other living organisms, including humans.
"How can we help you lord torterra." Flora asked.
"As I have said before, a huge ammount of toxins have increased in kanto which is slowly poising the wisteria tree and me also." Torterra said with a sigh.
"How about we use a high amount of antidote, that should cure both torterra and wisteria tree too." I asked.
Torterra shook his head saying "No that won't work, Human medicine does not work on me. For me or the tree to survive at least the ground I am staying or the air I breath is not filled with toxins."
If I am right the toxins are because of years of human pollution. Even in my world with advance technology the problem of pollution was there.
"Torterra we may be able to do something about the ground toxins but for air purification the only thing we can do is plant more trees in this area." I said. Torterra sighed knowingly.
He smiled tired and said "if the ground toxins are clear then it won't be a problem really."
Flora asked "how will you clear the ground toxins."
I did not answer, I was currently asking nelly about the safety of my pokemon for doing what I planned. Nelly calculated and said "don't worry host, we have high quality medecine, not a single harm will come for it but do continuously give antidote every 5 minutes."
"Go Venasaur, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, gengar and crobat." I sent out.
