While leaving for Vermilion city I encountered a golden bridge. I remember it from the games. I remember how team rocket asks the player to join them. Guess I can earn more rewards if I decided to take the challenge. But after what happened recently I wasn't sure anymore.
[Main mission: Defeat the nugget bridge trainers and capture team rocket.
Reward: Mannual for pokemon core, 15,000 pts]
The prizes were good but I was still reluctant. I though decided to take a chance on seeing one of charmander moves beeing smokescreen. There were five battels there. It was tough but as we advanced and got more prize money charmander also started gaining more confidence. She was still nervous but at least these battels were helping her regaining her lost confidence. Praises were just making her cry. Dang just how bad did that bastard treat her. Man am I going to make him pay or what. For the lower level pokemon charmander was the one to battel and for higher levels one it was always my other pokemon that battel.
Then came the main battel. A guy came congratulating me while handing me a gold nugget. It was all good when-
"Hey we are recruiting for team rocket. You can live in riches and luxuries for life instead of battling so much for a small single nugget . How about it." He said. I frowned at that. There was nothing like free lunch in real world. There is always a catch. This life no matter how much you sugar coat will be filled with danger, betrayal and much more. I immediately reported the nearby authorities by my secret spy cam I got as an investigator.
"Nope." I said popping a p deciding to play a bit.
"Are ya su-"
"No way I am going to take part in your shitty team." I said with a poker face. He was mad at that.
"Go ekans."
"Go Pichu use thunder shock." I called out. She caught the Ekans by surprise resulting her to successfully hit him.
"Ekans poision fang"
"Pichu dodge and use sweet kiss." Ekans was confused. "Use Disarming voice. " Another successful hit result being that Ekans had fainted.
Authorities had come by then and he was captured. I got another bounty of 1,00,000. Maybe for catching one of the recruiters. Linda was happy and over the moon as I had caught one of the recruiters of team rocket. Though as he was new he was not as strong as other recruiters but it was stiil good enough considering I also am new as both an investigator and pokemon trainer.
I went to pokemon centre to heal my pokemon, before I decided to head out again and be back on the road. I had decided on going to certain spots that Ash and his friends went. Last night I found a hidden function of the system with the help of which I can know the locations of all places mentioned in anime. Right now between cerlulean city and vermilion city the spot I wish to visit are
1. AJ Gym
2. Place were Ash Charmander was abandoned
3. Squirtle squad
4. Bulbasaur mysterious garden.
The garden is off the road to to the path to Vermilion city. But a few days detour does'nt seem to be too bad right.
I went towards the mysterious garden, not wishing to miss out on catching a royal starter pokemon. On the way I also decided to buy some skill mannuals. I decided on ice punch, Iron tail and steel wing. For my current team these three skills are sufficient. Also I don't have that many points yet anyway so. These three took the entire amount of points that I collected in Mt. Moon.
It took me three days on bicycle and I was going through shortcut. The road which I was travelling through had many strong pokemon but class wise not many were suitable. I also trained my pokemon relentlessly so that even if any pokemon attack us they will be able to fend them off.
On reaching there I saw many Bulbasaur and Ivysaur resting around. Upon arriving there everyone became alert.
Suddenly a venasaur came out from who knows where. He seemed to be vary of me. I felt that he is a prideful pokemon and so coming up front would be the best.
"Hello Venasaur. I am Regina. I have come here as I wish to capture a Bulbasaur or Ivysaur here. I can in return make good pokemon food for you all, just provide me with the necessary ingredients." I said.
Venasaur was furious at that but did'nt attack me because of coming up front. He was also curious about this food I was talking about.
"I will ensure that they are strong and will take good care of them Venasaur." I said.
Venasaur considered for a while. It would not be bad if one of his clan member can become strong. He thought that this human also don't seem to be lying and seem to be a good trainer so he does not need to be worried about one of his clan member being abused but...
Sensing his doubts I decided to send all our pokemon.
"Venasaur if you have any doubts then you can inquire what you want with our pokemon."
For Venasaur Regina's pokemon were not that strong yet but on interacting he was shocked that it was not that long since she started as a trainer but still their growth was huge. The love was also very obvious and their praise for Regina's food was also starting to tempt him. Though he still was in doubt. In the end he agreed for this.
He asked which one was willing to join. Among them one bulbasaur came forward.
I scanned the Bulbasaur and was pleased with her perfect stats. Venasaur was surprised because the Bulbasaur that came forward was the strongest among this year baby pokemon group.
The bulbasaur's challenged me. I obviously accepted it.
"Go Combusken"
The bulbasaur used razor leaf attack.
"Dodge and use Sky-uppercut." I said. It hit its mark. Bulbasaur was injured. It used sleep powder this time. 'Hmmm'
"Flamethrower." She dodged but Combusken immediately used another flamethrower on Bulbasaur.
"Sauur" It fainted. I threw a pokeball at it.
"Ding" yesss. Others also caught a bulbasaur.

"Thankyou for letting me capture one of the bulbasaur Venasaur." I said while bowing down.
I then made the pokemon food as promised and they were very pleased. I decided to stay three more days and make food for them before taking my leave. I also trained my pokemon in the mean time and was their progress rapid or what.
I left from there on a happy note.
