"In short, after the transformation, your chakra, strength, and speed will soar—one of the fastest ways to gain power. However, the curse seal granted by this snake is only Phase One. To reach Phase Two, my master Orochimaru must inject you again with the cursed seal, allowing you to transition into the second state.
"The process will be a bit painful, so let this snake accompany you home. When you're ready, let it bite your neck and inject the cursed seal."
The summoned snake coiled around Sasuke Uchiha and hid itself beneath his clothing.
Sasuke Uchiha nodded and then asked, "Can I learn your Full Sword Forms of Thunder Breathing?"
Chinya chuckled. "Of course you can. The Full Sword Forms of Thunder Breathing I left in Konoha are essentially complete—except for the most important prerequisite. Ask Kakashi about it. I'll give him a heads-up beforehand, and he'll teach you without holding anything back.
"If, after that, you still feel unsatisfied with your current power, come find me at Otogakure. I'll ask Master Orochimaru to inject you with the secondary cursed seal, making your Heaven-and-Earth Seal complete. Or if there's anything else you want to learn, I can teach that to you as well.
"After all, you've already traded your future to me, so I won't hold back from giving you anything in return.

Chinya smirked lightly. "Honestly speaking, I was surprised at first too. But later on, I realized—it's because revenge has completely consumed his mind now. He sees vengeance as his sole purpose in life. Naruto is also one of the reasons behind this."
Because Naruto is now far stronger than him, he who used to be the top student at the academy has been surpassed by the very one he once looked down on—Naruto. That's why he feels such intense jealousy toward Naruto. I imagine during your training with him, you noticed how impatient he was?

Unable to resist commenting, Chinya said, "Seriously, cut back on books like this—I don't get the appeal. You should find yourself a girlfriend already. At 26 years old, still reading this stuff. By the way, that girl from the Key Village named Hanare—don't you ever think about pursuing something with her? If you're interested, I could..."
Annoyed, Kakashi interrupted, "Master! Since when did you become so talkative? And how do you even know about her?"
The Hanare Chinya mentioned earlier was a kunoichi (female ninja) from the Key Country's Key Village, captured by Konoha.
She disguised herself as a singer performing in Konoha and deliberately let the Anbu capture her. Her mission was to steal intelligence from Konoha. While interrogators tried to extract information about her from Konoha, she stole intel about Konoha from their minds.

The reason Kakashi appeared in his childhood form was that, back then, he had once rescued Hanare and offered her guidance. From that moment on, Kakashi had become the dream figure she had always followed.
Later, when Hanare found herself cornered by Kakashi, she deleted the intelligence she had gathered out of consideration for him, and Kakashi chose to let her go.
Chinya shrugged. "Of course I found out through Konoha's 'serpent'—that girl, Hanare, is actually pretty good. And from what I remember, she really liked you back then too. You were worried about her, right? Worried that without that intel, Key Village would have her executed."
"Don't worry—I've taken care of everything for you. I had Daiki negotiate an alliance between Otogakure and Key Village, and specifically chose Hanare as the envoy. So… maybe you two could work something out?"
Kakashi shot Chinya his classic dead-fish-eyed stare, at a complete loss for words.
