Chapter 2
Emma slowly opened her eyes, the warm sunlight streaming through the window danced across her face, signaling the start of a new day. Groan out filling a bit annoyed cus she wanna sleep more ,but then the smell of fresh blew coffee swept across her nose ,she came to realize her mom must have been back "fuck" Emma Curse getting down the bed she hurriedly brushed her teeth going to met her mom
"Good morning mom "Emma said lazily, Rosa glance at her and chuckle
"Morning" "what are we eating for breakfast I'm starving tho"
"Nothing much just boiling the previous pasta with some coffee "actually they are poor Soo they don't eat expensive food nor even waste it , what they do is to preserve it in their Mini rusty refrigerator.
As they set the bench to eat Rosa started a conversation
" Emma very soon u will start going to high school "
"That's good mum after one year I will be attending school "huff " She puffed and angrily stabbed the pasta with her fork
"Calm down Emma you know have bad I want you to finish college and graduate,and get a suitable job for yourself with certificate"Rosa sadly said " fine mom I will do it just for your happiness and stop being sad because of me I hate it "
"Why won't I be sad when u re Soo stubborn"
Cutting Rosa off , Emma asked"which school will I be going "Rosa been surprised that emma didn't argue about it was kind of relief "actually I have registered your name for the scholarship examination ,so there is no need for scheduling for registration "
Emma glancing at rosa with a surprise look wondered when her mom did all this
Rosa looking back at emma said " sorry baby girl... it ..actually.. the.. school ..you hate.... the most , what the name again" trying to remember the name of the school
Emma eyes widened "mum seriously 😳 you know how much I hate that school , I can't go there fuuuuck"
" Language young lady besides I'm not even forcing you to pick a particular course, stop being all worked out and put your ego and hatred aside and do this just for Mee okay although when you graduate it will be easier in getting a job cus of the popularity "
Emma's pov
"Tho mom isn't wrong about that, poor kids study hard just for scholarship to secure their future but what I don't know is if finding a job was easy for them because in this era you a job through connections, as girl they ask for your body , as a guy you pay up for a job, but if you know someone or any individuals like a rich friend who you graduated with men you are damn lucky and that's what mom want me to do study , Make friends , have fun, have a boyfriend (ewww not me I know I'm beautiful but love is not on the list for now)
, graduate and get a job .Not like I'm not gonna do it but I will do whatever she wants just for her sake and get us out of poverty.
Fine mom when is the exam I said
Rosa beamed with happiness " in few weeks time"
"Okay heading to work now"
"No works till after the exam, go study I will take care of everything"
"Really mum"
"Yehhh" rosa said
" Okay mum have a great day " Emma didn't argue she just walked her mum of the house, she broded a taxi , kiss emma good bye and went to work
Emma getting inside shaked her head and sight " hope I won't kill all the students in that damn school"....
