Chapter 191 - Companions

Bujin snorted coldly. "It doesn't matter anyway, he's just an ordinary person. Come on, I can't wait to see the Chief and Bido!"

Bido... hehe, you can only see him in the underworld, Karnel thought with amusement as he looked at Bujin playfully.

"Bido is dead. He attacked me and was killed," Zangya's eyes turned cold. When speaking about the companion who had been so cruel to her, she felt no sympathy whatsoever in her heart.

"Why did he attack you? You killed him?" Bujin's face darkened as he asked angrily.

Zangya was at a loss for words, not knowing what to say. From the Galaxy Warriors' perspective, it seemed wrong that she hadn't joined Bido in attacking their enemy immediately. But because of such hesitation, Bido had been beaten to death, such harsh treatment seemed excessive.

Karnel stood up with a smile, closing his eyes as if savoring something pleasant. After a moment, he slowly opened his mouth and said, "I killed him. Don't ask why, I simply didn't like him. His heart was beaten in half, but he still struggled for quite a while before dying. The tragic scene before his death was truly pleasing to watch!"

This person has the ability to kill Bido? Bujin didn't believe it, looking suspiciously at Karnel's body and remaining silent.

How could Bido really die at his hands... Bido's strength is similar to mine, so if he killed him...

After observing for a long time and seeing that Zangya didn't deny it, Bujin had to accept this fact.

"Zangya, you foolish woman! You must have rescued Bido with this person. Why didn't you help Bido when he was being killed?! How dare you betray our leader Bojack!" Bujin yelled at Zangya angrily, an energy ball condensing in his palm. If she said one wrong word, he would smash her to pieces.

"Ridiculous!" Zangya suddenly flew several meters forward, speaking coldly with an expressionless face. "I rescued him, but he actually attacked me seriously and nearly killed me. Why should I help him? There's absolutely no betrayal involved."

Clap... clap!

Karnel deliberately acted like a villain, approaching Bujin elegantly and speaking lightly: "Zangya is now my subordinate and housekeeper, my maid. You cannot speak to her that way. I was just taking one last look to decide whether to spare you. If I hadn't promised her I wouldn't kill you, I would have punched you to death already. If you're done speaking, get out of my way."

"Zangya, you Galaxy Warrior traitor! Excellent! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Bojack hears this news." Bujin let out a low, menacing laugh, looking at Zangya with blood-red eyes before turning to give Karnel a deep look. With a whoosh, he flew away into the sky.

Zangya watched with complicated emotions as Bujin disappeared into the clouds.

"Oh! It seems they never considered you a real companion. They heard that Bido died and immediately blamed you without asking any questions," Karnel chuckled lightly, glancing at a certain cloud layer above.

"Hmph! This is all your doing, how could this happen if you hadn't appeared!" Zangya's angry eyes fell on Karnel as she spoke coldly.

"Tch, blaming me again. The so-called Galaxy Warriors are just a group of ferocious criminals who temporarily formed a trash team that only knows slaughter and killing throughout the universe. There's no morality at all, they're just slightly more powerful than average. If you really encountered truly invincible opponents, I can bet they'd be the first to flee. As for you, you're just an expendable pawn. Who cares whether you live or die? Thank you for being so naive about the three of them!"

Karnel explained dismissively.

Karnel saw this very clearly. Teammates who hadn't experienced life and death together were completely unreliable, let alone several violent criminals who only knew evil and had no morals at all. When escape became necessary, self-preservation would be paramount—who the hell would care about anyone else!

Zangya's body went rigid. This was quite possible. Although she didn't want to admit it, this was the truth.

"Are all companions so unreliable?" Zangya's heart became confused. Her companions had always been her supporting belief, but now that belief was shattered to pieces. She crouched down in bewilderment, not knowing what to do at all.

How truly sad...

"It's not that companions are unreliable, but that the people you chose were just garbage, cancerous tumors. Real companions are those who can help you without hesitation when you're in danger, who can sacrifice their lives to save you when you're in peril, who you can trust to watch your back without any worry. Those are true companions!"

Karnel sighed as many figures flashed through his mind: King Kai of the South, who went to his death to save all life in the universe; his previous comrades who could die alongside him to avenge their brothers; Sun Goku, full of justice on Earth, and many others...

Hmm! Finally, I can't help but want to make a move...

Karnel's eyes flashed with lightning as he sneered internally.

A massive energy wave suddenly struck from above the clouds. Everything happened too suddenly, Zangya didn't react at all, unable to dodge the incoming energy wave.
