Luo Feng had heard of such things before.
But it seemed he hadn't encountered them yet.
Would he get the chance this time?
Luo Feng had no intention of doing so—there was no need to collect more pets.
Not only that, but he was also deeply intrigued by the breathing technique Wu Dalang had mentioned earlier.
Soon, Luo Feng and the others gradually vanished from sight.
The Waspdog King, seeing them leave, attempted to give chase.
But in its transformed dog state, its speed was far from impressive. Before it could get far, Luo Feng and his group had completely disappeared.
Meanwhile, Su Yunxi, now transformed into a Little Eagle-headed Owl, stared at the large dog before her with deep confusion.
Not long ago, while Luo Feng was busy battling the two level-five wild creatures, she had swiftly taken the Little Eagle-headed Owl's corpse and retreated behind a large tree.
Then, she stored the corpse in her space ring and transformed herself from a Dog-Headed Bee into a Little Eagle-headed Owl.
Before she could even plan her next move, a swarm of Dog-Headed Bees that had followed her arrived in front of her.
The bees were utterly bewildered at the sight of the revived Little Eagle-headed Owl.
What was happening?
Had that Dog-Headed Bee from earlier somehow brought the Little Eagle-headed Owl back to life?
But where had that Dog-Headed Bee gone?
Just then, a large dog came running over.
Su Yunxi, seeing the dog approach, feared that her transformation would be short-lived—ending in her demise.
But the dog didn't attack her.
After observing for a few minutes, she finally reached a conclusion.
For some unknown reason, the level-five Waspdog King and the Great Eagle-headed Owl had both been transformed into large dogs.
Meanwhile, Luo Feng had been frantically harvesting the Soul-Bewitching Fruits.
She saw everything clearly but could do nothing about it.
She had no intention of revealing her abilities in front of Luo Feng and the others.
A few minutes later, she watched as Luo Feng's group stripped the Bewitching Tree of every last Soul-Bewitching Fruit, leaving nothing behind.
The sight of the barren tree nearly made Su Yunxi spit blood in frustration.
Luo Feng and his team were ruthless—not even leaving scraps for others.
Now, though she had gained the Great Eagle-headed Owl's trust, her chance to obtain the Soul-Bewitching Fruits was gone.
So, she turned her attention to the Honeycomb.
She distinctly remembered that earlier, the Dog-Headed Bees had been transporting some Soul-Bewitching Fruits from the ground into the Honeycomb.
There had to be plenty of fruits inside.
But she would have to wait until Luo Feng and the others were gone before making her move.
In her Little Eagle-headed Owl form, she watched as Luo Feng's group departed.
Not long after they left, the large dog beside her suddenly began to change.
It reverted back into the Great Eagle-headed Owl.
The restored Great Eagle-headed Owl was overjoyed—its child was still alive.
Su Yunxi, however, was not the least bit surprised by the transformation.
The Great Eagle-headed Owl certainly couldn't remain a dog forever—it was only a matter of time.
She roughly estimated the duration—a level 5 monster had actually been transformed for ten minutes.
It seemed Luo Feng's methods were truly formidable.
At her current level, she could only transform level 2 creatures at most.
Fortunately, the Little Eagle-headed Owl was only level 2.
Otherwise, her plan might have failed.
She didn't dwell on it further.
Now that the Great Eagle-headed Owl had regained its true form, she would use this opportunity to obtain some Soul-Bewitching Fruits.
After a rather intense "friendly exchange" between the Great Eagle-headed Owl and the Waspdog King,
Su Yunxi managed to secure a few Soul-Bewitching Fruits.
Originally, she had planned to use them as repayment for Luo Feng.
But as she stared at the now-bare Bewitching Tree, she realized Luo Feng likely already had hundreds of the fruits in his possession. Handing him one now wouldn't make much of a difference.
Moreover, she had no way to explain how she had obtained these fruits.
After some thought, Su Yunxi ultimately decided against offering them.
These fruits would last her a while.
Perhaps she could find something even better?
After all, the Soul-Bewitching Fruits were merely one of Mist Island's treasures.
Deeper within the island, there were surely more valuable treasures to be found.
Before, Su Yunxi had only intended to collect the fruits and leave Mist Island.
She hadn't planned to venture further in.
But now, circumstances had changed.
The reason lay with the level 5 Eagle-headed Owl by her side.
She would make full use of this creature to reap greater rewards.
She didn't linger for long before taking flight alongside the level 5 Eagle-headed Owl.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on Mist Island...
A massive figure muttered to himself,
"What kind of cursed place is this?"
"I just arrived in the Main Sea Area from the Novice Sea Territory—how did I end up on an island?"
"Especially one shrouded in mist like this?"
"If not for Wang Er's vision-based Talent, we wouldn't be able to see a thing."
"In this situation, we should stick together."
"I'll ask the other survivors in the Main Sea Area if anyone knows what's going on here."
At the same time, Luo Feng and his group continued their advance after leaving the Bewitching Tree.
The distribution of the various colored mist zones on Mist Island was unknown even to Luo Feng.
Not even the Bounty Hunter Guild had any records of such details.
After all, no bounty hunter dared to venture deep into Mist Island.
And even if one was bold enough to try, they never made it back out.
After roughly half an hour of travel, the color of the mist before them finally shifted.
As the white mist turned red, Luo Feng's face lit up with excitement.
In the White Mist area, neither White Ghosts nor other creatures were commonly encountered.
Perhaps this was related to the Black Ghouls' presence here.
Luo Feng couldn't be certain of much, but one thing was clear—the deeper they went, the stronger and more bizarre the monsters would become.
The boundary between the White Mist and Red Mist areas was starkly defined.
It was as if an invisible barrier separated the two.
Luo Feng, filled with curiosity, reached out his right hand to touch it and easily passed through.
He didn't feel any resistance at all.
