Chapter 1 - Beginning of this all

Echo of the Fallen

(Prologue)

The story begins millions of years ago, when a branch of Gardosni race was considered one of the most evolved life-forms in the entire universe. For centuries, they regarded themselves as the greatest civilization ever to exist.

But with time—and evolution—came a shift in ambition.

What once was a race of explorers and innovators gradually turned into a force of conquerors. Scattered across the infinite skies, driven by an overwhelming desire to unify the universe under their rule, the Gardosnis began their campaign of domination. They brought countless planets under their control, seized celestial bodies, and ruled over entire species across the galaxies.

Their reign, however, came to an abrupt and terrifying end.

When one faction of the Gardosnis army set its sights on a mysterious planet called Zorons, the invasion began like any other. Convinced of their strength—perhaps even blinded by their overconfidence—they descended upon the planet, completely unaware of the horror that awaited them.

In an instant, 1,000 Gardosnis soldiers were slaughtered—brutally—their hearts torn from their bodies before any could even react.

Not one survived.

Except for one.

Somehow, a single Gardosnis soldier managed to escape the massacre. Wounded and trembling, he staggered back to his homeworld to deliver a chilling message:

"We have awakened something beyond our understanding..."
